Easy to fill and clean, and two hole sizes

This is a nice looking, easy to use salt and pepper shaker set. I have used several OXO products over the years and have found they are designed well with ease of use and ergonomics in mind. This set is no different. The tops are easily removed to expose the mouth of the glass reservoir which makes for fast and easy filling. The hole size selection is a great feature, especially if you use more coarse salt and/or pepper.

Took 2 Sets to Get One

These are nice well made but not packaged well. First order one was broke, contacted Amazon they sent replacement the next day. That order had a broken one so since each shaker is the same I made me a good set. These are well put together and are of good quality like other OXO utensils.

Nice enough shakers

The hole variety could be better. I put MSG in the shaker, and maybe the grain is a little large compared to tablr salt, but the 3-hole selection is not very useful. Also, I can feel that grains have gotten between the metal and the plastic in the selector. So, cleanings could be annoying for something more reactive like sugar.

Nice but are they worth $25?......NO

Glass salt/pepper shakers with adjustable output. These are ok shakers but just not worth that much money in my opinion. Even in the $10-$15 range, I would think twice. There are lots of other similar products that sell for less than half this price. Pros; They are easy to hold. Cons; The price Recommendation; Do a search for "glass adjustable salt & pepper shaker set" and check prices before you buy.

Wonderful

I have tried many salt and pepper shakers in the past and never really put much thought into them before, but when I saw these they piqued my interest due to the adjustable nature of them, and I have had positive experiences with Oxo brand products in the past. These come in some fairly basic packaging, nothing fancy. The shakers themselves look classy, high quality. Probably the only downside is the Oxo logo being on them, which, it's fine, but I don't really need my dining table to be advertising for whatever brand my salt and pepper shakers are. Aside from that though, they're great... they are easy to use, and really easy to adjust. I have sometimes had other salt shakers in the past where moisture gets in and the salt clumps up but haven't had that happen with these, I will report back if anything changes.

Too big for it's description

These are not what I would call salt and pepper shakers. They are of an excellent quality design though. These are the shakers you find at pizza places that have cheese and hot peppers in them. So while they won't work for salt and pepper like I wanted, they hold my basil and oregano very nicely.

Nicely made and they work well.

OXO's Salt and Pepper shaker set is nicely made from a combination of thick glass, stainless steel, and plastic. They feel robust and satisfying in the hand. They are well sized and hold a generous amount of seasonings. The top screws off to fill them, and the opening is large. There are three settings that you change by twisting the cap - large holes, small holes, and closed. While they work great for salt and pepper, there is no reason you can't put other seasonings inside. I have been using one of them for cinnamon and keep it with my coffee maker. They disassemble easily and are easy to thoroughly clean by hand with a sponge or small brush. All in all... lovely and well designed.

Big easy

These shakers are bigger than our regular ones that are much like you might see in a diner, if we went to diners anymore. The lids are larger too, and easier to get on and off. It is easy to twist the top to change the amount being shaken, one or three holes, less or more. We washed the lids by hand but put the glass bottles in the dishwasher. OXO is one of our favorite brands for things we didn't even know we needed in the kitchen, and a definite first choice whenever shopping. The quality is all there,
