Decent value for the money • don’t leave them out 24/7 • keep them together with phone wire

I bought a pack of 50 of these 3 years ago, and most of them are still in use. I hang out our laundry 12 months a year; we live near Boston. If you leave them hanging on the line, instead of bringing them indoors after each use, they will degrade much faster from the ultraviolet light, cold and heat. They will fly apart in high winds, unless you wire the two halves together. I’ll try to post photos or a video later on how to do this with thin wire (22 gauge).

They are inexpensive, and that is not surprising.

These are rather flimsy, I'm afraid, although not much of an investment, so how can one complain too much?

Too Weak of a spring

The springs used in these are too weak for hanging bath towels and bed sheets on anything but a calm day.

Plastic no different than Wood

I was excited to receive these clothespins. Thought I could use in closing bags in kitchen and laundry on line. I find these break apart just like the wooden ones. Ahhhhhh. I wanted them to work. I reviewed so many. This was a good deal for 50. But if they break like wooden ones wants the difference. Well July 10,2018. These break putting up the laundry and taking the laundry off the line. They break in your hand. I've got wooden pins that are 20yrs old that are holding up. Literally. You be the judge.

Ok clothes pins

I bought these to replace some wooden ones that I have that tend to cause pulls in delicate fabrics. These so far have worked fine. Not really heavy or sturdy but for hanging hand-washed delicates, these are ok.

Pretty Chintzy

I ordered these clothespins for a baby shower game, and for that purpose, they worked fine. However I would not use them as actual clothespins to hang clothing or for anything needing strength. The 2 pincher tops tended to slide off angle from the center spring. They didn't break, just weren't very sturdy. If you need clothespins for the usual purpose, I wouldn't recommend these. But as a novelty or for very light usage (chip clip), they are fine.

Flimsy, won't las the season.. it's so wrong to make garbage..

These clothespins don't even come out of the packet without having to have the springs pushed into place. Thin plastic, used them once and don't expect they'll even last until the fall, and I doubt they'll keep the clothes on the line in the slightest breeze.

Good quality for a very cheap price. These clothespins are not going to last a lifetime, but they're sturdy little suckers and I'm sure they'll last a couple years of laundry. For less than $5. Good deal.
