THIS PRODUCT MAKES SENSE!

I have been looking all over for something that is glass with a BPA free cap that can handle very hot temperatures of steam and freshly boiled water. All the other glass pitchers have stainless steel covers on top as a cap/lid and it doesn't make sense to me if you're going to make a hot batch of tea with those products because heat + metal = burns. This is the glass pitcher that I have always used before, and when I moved away from my family, I was so desperate on trying to find this again. This product is very light weight. The glass is sturdy enough for me. Easy to clean because you can just use a typical dishwashing brush with a long handle, and its easy to use for me since I place loose leaf teas in a teabag or infuser. I like to brew my tea hot first, and then let it sit to cool down before I put it in the fridge. It is my go-to brewing method. So if any of you guys do the same, this glass pitcher is the way to go.

Best Refrigerator Pitcher Ever!

I have three of these that I use in the refrigerator for iced tea. I use one color of cap for black tea and one for green tea. I pour boiling water in with no problems ever. It is slim and lightweight and fits really nicely in the frig door without taking up much room. I have had these for years and have no breakage. They are like new. They hold up well in the dishwasher.

This is the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) version of the product which makes it desireable to me!

This the regular high-quality version of this Hario glass storage bottle for drinks or water, sized to (if you wish) fit into most refrigerator door storage areas. Top opens and closes easily, 1400ml capacity, but I regularly stored 1600ml of water or iced coffee or tea in it by filling to the top. This particular item is very prized by me because this particular seller is selling the JDM version of the project which I prefer. All of the writing and markings on the bottle are in Japanese and metric. Likewise the packaging is totally in Japanese. You can never go wrong with Hario: the best glassware for the kitchen and frigo!

nice pitchers

I bought two of these for iced tea, so I don't buy iced tea in plastic jugs at the store anymore. Great quality, borosilicate glass is lightweight. The lid does not seal 100% because it doesn't have a gasket, but the pitcher is still very good.

Great Hario Product

Great for being a simple water pitcher, easily fits any fruit pieces or if you are making ice tea The handle is really nice as well and easy to pour. Great glass quality too, hario makes the best heat proof glass products for sure definitely recommend.

Nice design but glass is too thin

Nice design. Slim feature is a plus. But glass is really thin. I have to make a point to set it down very gently as to not break it.

Must love this one

I bought a tea pot and a Coffee Tea Pot from this company. The glass is pristine, high quality glass. It is very hard to spill with these pots too. I love them!

Wish it was a bit bigger but it works great!

I wanted to leave a reply as there wasn't too many reviews from Canada. Hario is a really popular brand in Japan. The product is high quality and works well in both hot or cold environments. We typically pour hot water inside the jug and we have no issues. Just wish it was a little bit larger so it could hold more water.

Excellent thick glass

we use this daily to pour hot water then to cool (asian homes... we love our boiled water). Holds well, no fear of cracking from the heat. A bit tall and thin, wish it was more thicker and shorter, will be less of a tip over risk, but would definitely buy this again.

Crystal clear water jar which can hold boiling water. It is an expensive jar but you won't regret having it.
