Fun card-based strategy

This is a fun game, especially to play as teams. Based on cards dealt or drawn you try to complete a sequence that exists on the board layout. There is strategy involved and you sometimes need to switch from “offense” to “defense” to block your opponent. Good fun, with a bit of thinking involved as well (tho not particularly cerebral). We like it!

Best game ever!

Our son brought this game when he visited, and we loved it so much we had to buy it. Great quality, easy to learn, and great for the whole family. Just bought another one to give as a gift.

Best board ever

This board is great as it is bigger than the original typical regular board. It IS NOT a mat like the roll up crap. Best board I've bought so far and this is like number 6 or 7.

Fun game-be sure to buy premium edition

We bought sequence in the regular size. The board was so tiny that it was difficult to see the cards. This premium edition is much much better. Makes it easier to see and more fun to play because of that.

Fun, strategy game

First played this game on Christmas day at our daughter's house. She had just purchased it. It was a lot of fun and made us think about each move. In fact, it was so much fun (and we won against the guys) that I ordered this one for ourselves. Turns out this is a bigger board and easier to see and play. Our daughter and boyfriend are asking to come over and play again.

Excellent game. Hours of fun and competition. Size matters!

We were introduced to this game but friends one night and it has become a staple in and around our home, since. Sequence can best be described as part backgammon, part poker. It allows for small teams or larger teams and each game can run about 20-40 minutes. It is great fun. The Goliath Premium addition is a must have for a few reasons. Although, principally the same, the regular version amd this one has a couple of differences that make this version a much better experience. The size of the board here (about 30%-40% larger) makes all the difference in the world when placed in the middle of a group. It is easier to work with (reach) and easier to read. When completing a "sequence", this game has chips that are colored with a white highlight on one side that allows younto immediately identify where a sequence has been completed, the regular version does not feature this and again becomes a little more challenging - visually. I have spent hours and hours on both versions and I can not tell you enough that this game is best enjoyed in a larger version. HIGHLY recommended, a number of our friends have been bought since we introduced them to it, just like we bought it when it was introduced to us!

This board is larger making it easier to see

We like the game. Easy to learn and we have found it to great to play with company after dinner. We had bought a previous game but the board was smaller making everything else smaller and if you are older or wear glasses it was difficult to see everything well. 20 years ago that wouldn’t have been a problem but now… This board is larger and easier to see and play on. Just keep that in mind when you go to buy the game. There are several different versions with board size being the major difference

Not premium

Oooh dear. I wanted this great game to be a premium version. The coloured chips are very very cheap. After playing the game a few times we were short of counters and had to take some from a different game. Very disappointing 12 euro would be a much fairer price. So dont pay the extra.
