Saves a lot of time, sturdy and good value
This is a good value and higher build quality than I’d imagined. My only tiny issue is there are places that more holes could’ve been created where a bit of media tends to get stuck.

Just to clear things up...
Seems to be some confusion about the size of the holes. I checked, a .22lr will go through, a 9mm will not. I don't have casings in between, so I measured it. Btw, I got it to classify dirt for gold panning. Looks like it will be perfect! Fits about 5 inches into a 5 gal bucket, but that's ok. I'm getting old and don't wanna carry heavy things anyway. If I get into reloading, ...it becomes a multi-purpose tool! For 8 bucks, it's perfect. Hope that helps!

Big sticker issue
Great item, and in fact I ordered two more. I can think of many uses for these besides tumbling uses. It's bigger than I thought, and nice and sturdy. I love it. HOWEVER, it comes with a sticker that is the worst sticker to remove! I soaked it in soapy water, I used GOO GONE SOLVENT, I scraped at it, and now it's in the dishwasher. I sure as heck hope it comes off. If not for the sticker they would be perfect. I say that now, as I have not used them, but I suspect they are good. I wish they would not put on these huge stickers! Addendum: I got two more because they are such good items. It took three dishwasher runs, goo gone, and steel wool and my fingernails to finally get the stickers off. Unbelievable.

Probably better for dry media vs ss pins.......
It works ok for ss pins, but probably intended for dry media use. It does work better for ss pins if you fill the bucket full of water to submerge your brass, then rake your hand around in it to empty pins from brass. A better deal than the caps that comes with the big wet FART. But a rotary media seperator would be money better spent.

Robust, effective sieve. Makes separating cases from media a cinch.
Up until now I've simply plunged my gloved hands into the tumbling media to scoop out brass cases. This is slow, messy, and sometimes doesn't get every case out of the tumbler. Enter this gadget. It's made of robust, chunky plastic and fits perfectly over the top of a 5 gallon bucket. I just pour out the contents of the timbers bowl into the sieve, give it a few gentle shakes, and all the media not stuck in cases drops into the bucket. Quick and easy, and I know I've got every case out of the bowl. I can then pick the cases one by one from the sieve, tap out the media, and sort them at my leisure. Very handy. The only improvement I'd like to see is the sieve openings being slightly smaller. The current sized holes will catch pretty much any caliber one would want to reload, but .22LR cases will slip through and land in the bucket. I don't reload .22LR, of course, but it often gets mixed into miscellaneous brass I pick up from the range and it'd be nice to keep it from falling back into the bucket of media.

Bigger than it looks !
This is made well but it’s bigger than it looks. Also if you have issues removing the label use Avon Skin So Soft spray on the label let sol on label a couple of days reapply the Skin So Soft frequently. The label will side off is you try this.

Best media separator value for the money
This thing is rugged, worth every cent - and it works very well. I discovered a common plastic grocery bag will fit under this bag very easily. Bat's handles fit nicely over the separator's handles. Dump your media and brass into separator and shake. Be sure to do a bit of the ol 'Chef's flip' to roll brass and ensure they're all emptied. Voila! In short order, all your media is in the bag, all your brass in the separator. Easy to pour brass into a box and unload media back into your tumbler. IMHO, easier and more effect than the more expensive 'rotary' type that requires a dedicated bucket, as well as cutting into the bucket. Would recommend to anyone using organic media in a brass tumbler.

Yes this does separate steel media pins from brass
Absolutely a must have for separating steel media pins from brass after cleaning in a Tumblr… All I do is rinse the water out of my Tumblr a few times then just pour the entire contents into this over a bucket then move and agitate the brass to separate all the steel pins out of it… Steel pins will fall through this basket into the bucket… Are used to hurt my back using my wet brass Tumblr because I’d have to shake all the pens through My Franklin armory what Tumblr it was a real pain in the butt but now my back is saved because I don’t have to shake the Tumblr anymore again just rinse the water a few times from the Tumblr without losing the steel pans then just pour into this basket and agitate to Separate steal pins From brass… As always agitate completely making sure no steel pins remain inside the brass shells

Works with SS tumbling
Works well with stainless steel pins as well, just need to make sure you purchase the magnet as well to remove the few stragglers. But overall it has dramatically reduced the amount of time required to separate brass from the media.

Good media sifter
Good sifter, fits a standard pail just fine to transfer the media from the tumbler. If you use it for only sifting casings it works just fine, if you plan to use it for other sifting the holes maybe too large for smaller items.

Works perfect
This was exactly what I was after. Fits a standard 5 gallon / 20 litre pail and makes quick work of seperating my brass from media. An inexpensive item that works extremely well, would recommend to anyone thinking of getting one.

An absolute MUST HAVE if you're we tumbling with steel ...
An absolute MUST HAVE if you're we tumbling with steel media. Just put on top of 5 gal pail and start rinsing off. Steel ends up in pail and brass is clean and empty. Note I do this while kneeling next to bath tub since alot of water splashing around
