No-Knot Eyelets

Nice clean way to join fly line to leader. It will probably pull out before reaching the tensile strength of the leader.

It is much easier to connect your leader to the fly line. Could have used more for the price.

I have used "No-Knot" eyelets for many years and will continue to use them as they are the easiest way to attach to my lines. I've tried the woven slip-on loops with little success. I like these but was a little disappointed that they were not small enough for a 3 weight line. I'll still use them for my other set ups. The barb grabs well and doesn't allow them to be pulled out without breaking the fly line and they are light enough that they don't add weight that would make your floating line sink. I like to heat the eyelet just enough to melt the fly so I can squeeze it to form a water tight seal around the stem. this keeps the line core from getting saturated and from starting to sink prematurely. Neat gadget for old hands.

The small no-knot eyelet appears as advertised. I have nit used it yet. It does appear a little expensive.
