Poor quality - and where is customer support?
I give this 4 starts due to customer support and instructions from Karman. The wheelchair itself was much better than the one we tried to get from a wheelchair company through Medicare. It came super fast and is easy for my mother to use. I needed to get information on how to lower the seat, which was one of the buying features I purchased it for. The manual is a total waste of time .. probably written by someone who's first language is not English. I contacted the company .. and was told that this model was not capable of lowering the seat. We were able to figure it out ourselves but the company had no clue. I also meant to buy the full length arm rests. Now I can't find a replacement arm rest assembly. My mistake ... but can't find replacement parts! Now we've had it 2 months .. that's all. And the covering on the arm has come off.

Works great!
Sad to say that I had to purchase this for myself after being ran over by a car on my bicycle. The driver drove off and left me to die. I survived and after 6 months, I'm still recovering. I was glad I bought this chair for myself. It functions like the same one I used in the hospital. Missing a seat cushion but that's no problem because the hospital gave me one for when I get discharged. Was disappointed for one reason...I only used the chair for 4 days after I got discharged. I was able to slowly walk with a cane. The chair worked great in all aspects.

Love it!!!!
Ecstatic! Just broke my ankle five days ago and have been crawling on my hands and knees and this came overnight first thing in the morning. It easily holds my 210 pound miserable self and I can adjust the leg rest to hold my leg up and leave the other rest off (if I like) and wheel it around my tight kitchen with ease. It has good brakes for getting in and out of the chair and was already assembled except the foot rests you have to slip on (and maybe adjust) yourself. My 82 year old Dad seemed very comfy in it (230 lbs 6ft 2 in) and my 83 year old Mom helped me adjust the footrests. High quality, sturdy, and comfy. Love it!

Well made chair at a great price
I spent a lot of hours shopping around and for the price you can't beat this chair. It has detachable leg and arm rests which come off with ease. I weigh about 200 lbs and it's comfortable to sit in. One of the selling points for myself was it having an 18" W seat while still being narrow at about 25" W from outer wheel to outer wheel. Most chairs I looked at with this narrow of a clearance have a corresponding smaller 16" seat. All in all, it is sturdy, well made, and it does fold up for ease of transport. I'd recommend it to anyone.

GREAT QUALITY!
Insurance had paid $450 a chair last year. It lasted 7 months. The front tires stopped working correctly. I felt like I was using it on a beach! People I only weight 165 pounds! So..... I paid $89 for this chair!!! MUCH BETTER QUALITY!

Great Value!
We just purchased this wheelchair for my father, he had a stroke and requires a wheelchair. The hospital recommended purchasing a Karman, for its lightweight frame, ease of folding, and overall the best bang for your buck. So far we are more than pleased with this purchase, the only downfall is the brake lever is a little hard on the hands. Even with this said, it was a great purchase!

This is a very well made chair and the only ...
This is a very well made chair and the only reason I returned it was the seat was not wide enough for my husband.

Great buy, better than renting!
Was pushed by my son all over Germany, not all that sturdy but certainly served the purpose. The handles to push were too low, my son is 6' tall.

Lightweight and sturdy
I took this wheelchair to Europe and it held up well over all the cobblestones during our 6 week trip I love it. Only problem is that the left armrest doesn't click into place and comes out if you try to lift the chair by the arms - a minor inconvenience. Otherwise this chair is good value for the money.
