It’s small and compact but the wheels need to be tweaked.
This is a great chair. It’s compact so it fits in small doorways and if you live in an apartment, small apartments. It’s pretty good. the brakes are very strong and hard to put on the chair but honestly that’s better because the chair can’t move after you put the brakes on. The wheels are a bit of a problem. They need to be realigned because it will feel like your wheels wobble from left to right when you’re in the chair. When you try and push yourself on the chair, sometimes the wheels slip off the floor which could be a hazard to those who need to wheel themselves places. If you’re not on a flat surface, the wheel chair will tend to lean to the left or the right which ever side the road is slanted towards. Another problem is the size of the chair, if you or a a family member, partner, or patient has a larger body, this chair may not be for you. It can fit through small doors but the size of the chair is kind of small too. It fit me just right but I don’t think it will be useable for very long if my illness sustains and I end up gaining more weight. So just a heads up. Here’s the positives of the wheels, they can roll over almost any bump or ledge, with the right amount of pressure to push on the wheels itself. This chair gets four stars because the wheels need to be realigned and possibly tightened but it is carrying me through CRPS so I say it’s a bang for your buck ????

Superior Design and Function
I am a 5' 10" 180# male, and this wheelchair is far superior to the other popular brand of wheelchair. I have had it a month, and the higher seat heat and narrower width (16" vs 18") allows better comfort and maneuverability. I do not need a seat cushion with this as I do with the other brand as well. The mechanical design of this one also fold easier.

Lightweight and Easy to Use
I ordered this chair for two reasons. First, I seriously injured my ACL and fractured my Tibia and needed to reduce any wight bearing stress on my leg for a week before I was able to see an Orthopedist. The Medline Wheelchair is lightweight and easy to use. folding it up to stow in a car could not be simpler. The chair is quiet and can spin using little effort. NOTE: I'm 5'-8" at 190lbs and if I were any larger, the 18" wide chair I ordered would be a bit snug. There is a 24" option which I believe would be more comfortable for larger folks. The second reason I ordered this chair is I realized our company doesn't have one so, I am donating my chair in case someone else might need it. One final note, if you decide to keep this chair, it may be a good idea to order a wheelchair pad (also available on Amazon) which will make the seat more comfortable. Hope this helps.

Just right
This is the 16 x 16 seat chair. It easily fits through smaller doorways in my home. It is comfortable and quiet as compared to other chairs I have owned. Great price too.
