Easy to Use and Great size
This is a very large timer and that's a good thing. It has a stand for the timer as well as magnets on the back for sticking to your fridge. The dial turns very easily with almost no friction and the alarm is sufficiently loud I use this as a visual timer for my son so he can visualize how much time is remaining for things like bath time or before getting ready for school.

Great but Finicky
The other reviews that say the clock is finicky and shouldn’t be played with, are exactly true. You have to turn the dial all the way around the clock, and then set the duration you want. Well naturally it’s impossible to keep it visible to the kids but their hands off it, 100% of the time. So since they’ve been turning the dial on their own, it doesn’t really work anymore. It often just sits and doesn’t count down. Otherwise, my son loved it. He always used to scream and throw tantrums and be so upset when it was time to change activities and go do something, if it wasn’t something that interested him i.e. bath time, bed time, dinner time, etc.. With the timer, where he could visually see how much time was left, changing activities really wasn’t an issue anymore. I’d be clear about the time left, I’d set the clock, I’d tell him when it ran out & the blue was all gone (we got the circle one with the blue timer), it was time to do ____ (insert activity here). He’d nod and say “okay,” and then sure enough when the timer went off, he’d agreeably and happily change activities. I’d even use the timer to show him how much time he had left to do something, if we were running behind. Instead of trying to explain to a 2 year old why we have 5 minutes to put on our shoes and get out the door for an appointment, I’d set the timer for 4 minutes and hype him up, saying “oh my goodness!! We have only this much time left, 4 minutes, to get our shoes on and race out the door!!” Worked like a charm nearly every time. In all: excellent for kids, even used it for myself to give me a visual on how much time I’d spent cleaning, I love the kick stand AND the magnet, but it’s finicky so don’t play with it like a toy, nor let the kids play with it like a toy.

Overpriced
All of these visual timers seem overpriced to me, however they help my kids not have a meltdown when we need to get out the door. So yeah. I kept it. Works great

It’s Definitely Red
I initially got the blue timer because the weird purple color shown in the Amazon pics was so…. weird. Wanted to use it for a sauna timer, and this works great for that (longevity is yet to be seen, but so far so good). It has a pleasant beeping sound when the time is up, which can be made quiet or loud. No sound while it’s running. After the blue one came it was clear on the box the other option is red, not purple—and that made a ton more sense for a sauna. So I bought the red and yes, it’s definitely red, not purple. No idea why that color is shown, but see attached pic for what the real color is. The blue is as shown in the advertising, though.

good size, works well
I got the blue color one because red seemed like it should be for emergency or something negative, and I'm trying to cultivate a positive of time so figured any little bit helps. The clock is pretty big and has a little stand so I just have it on my desk next to the monitor and it's very visble and easy to set/reset (big analog/physical turning knob in the middle). Great timer. I do wish they would have a mode to just beep once instead of six times though. Six beeps? I mean, it's not too bad and you do want to be alerted ... but this is not good for night time - just a single subtle beep would have been awesome. Crossed my mind to take it apart, or make that a electronics project... hm, anyway as far as these things go this is a great timer.

Works great and can hear it pretty well
The media could not be loaded. I have ADHD. And I could not get anything done. So I use this to keep myself on track. I absolutely love it and it helps so much. I just set it for 30 minutes and clean and then wait till it goes off. That doesn’t seem like I had much to do and then I go do some thing else for a minute and set it for 30 minutes and then come back and do cleaning. I love it so much yes

The BEST Time Timer!
I have had several time timers in my kindergarten classroom. Some require you to turn past a certain point and then back to the time you want. Some are not magnetic. This one is perfect. It has super strong magnets on the back so it does not move. I can just walk up and adjust the time I want and it goes! So easy, so tidy, just perfect

This timer works really well. It's easy to see and hear without being too ugly or noisy. It helps my preschooler make transitions without fussing!

LOOKS LIKE A TOY
I use this timer to visually give me a sense of how much time is left in my sessions with clients. It is easy to work. You just turn the knob until the coloured circle reaches the count-down time. It immediately starts to reduce the color as the minutes go by, and ultimately, when it reaches the allotted time, it sounds a few beeps. You can turn the sound down to a softer tome or you can silence it. I wish the batteries would last longer than they do. I seem to not get much battery life from this device. I wonder whether they could not make it work with a mini solar panel?

Wonderful product to help with transitions
We are very happy with the item. It is bigger than we thought - in a good way. The magnet is nice and strong that the kids can't yank it off the fridge. The ability to also have it free standing it handing. The visual aid of seeing the colours disappear as the time counts down has proven to be so helpful for the kids. When the timer goes off it is crystal clear sounding and the volume is adjustable. Super happy with the product!

Love It -- Recommended
PROS: No ticking or other noise, very visual, retro cool look, two alarm volumes plus silent, very strong magnetic back for mounting, integral desk stand, and really easy to use. AA batteries -- thankfully not the more-expensive AAA. Plus, gadget lovers enjoy figuring out how the colour dial works. NEUTRALS: It's fairly big. I love that, but some might find it overpowering for smaller rooms/kitchens. Recommend you cut out a 7.5 inch circle to get a sense of the size if you're concerned. CONS: None for me -- I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Great Visual for the Classroom
Bought this a week ago for my grade 2 classroom. Love that it is magnetic and sticks on my whiteboard. The kids love the visual and I love that they can actually see the time passing, rather then just looking at a digital clock. The actual alarm noise is quite quiet, but the kids can still hear it. Definitely recommend for a classroom!

Stopped working after a couple of months
Bought two of these from the positive reviews. It just doesn't work, consistently, the timing would countdown, but it doesn't always beep. I've replaced the batteries and read their troubleshoot. Reached out to seller without response. Really disappointing given how pricey this product is compared with what's available in the market.
