Read the fine print!
This is a EXCELLENT product. So why the "3" rating? I expected a pair of these pads and only received one. My bad! Being an EXCELLENT product doesn't really help if you need two but only have one! The price for a pair makes this product very expensive compared to others. Shop around.....

Not like the picture!
The product looks nothing like the picture in that it is much thinner with little indent. Picked this product so I could put a kayak on the car roof and had to order thicker ones. They probably work for some cars but my roof was too curved. Product would have been perfect if it was the size advertised in the picture.

Doesn’t fit
I ordered 2 of these blocks because they looked sturdier than the others. What was not clear is the slot for the roof rack was not provided and of course it doesn’t fit my around the bars. I tried to use them but they wouldn’t stay on so now I’ve wasted $44+ On blocks that I can’t use, so disappointed.

Too expensive for just one
Maybe I missed it, but for the price, I thought I was getting a pair. No, just one. For $6 more, I got a pair from REI. They're exactly the same. Size, brand - identical.

Be aware this is priced for ONE block, not a set. Obviously you need a pair to haul a boat. I ordered what I thought was two sets and got two blocks (for $36) which makes this significantly pricier than you would expect.

Bait and Switch: The ad refers to blockS. That normally means more than one. But this price is for only ONE block, which makes this an expensive item.
