Waterproof but ...

This is my second pair, which is a recommendation in itself. My first paired last for years, even with heavy use. The gloves are absolutely waterproof, a godsend in all sorts of outdoors conditions, when cold wet gloves can be disastrous. Unfortunately, my fingers get cold very quickly, and these gloves don't protect my hands even in temps well above freezing.

sizing between styles is sort of random.

I haven't worn the gloves in the rain yet; this is about the sizing. I bought two different styles of Sealskinz gloves, a finished glove in large, and this glove in medium. The finished glove in large is too small me and this glove in large is a little big. So the sizing charts don't mean much and your best best is to order two or three pairs in different sizes and return the ones the don't fit.

Not for people with long fingers.

I haven't had a chance to them test in cold weather yet but the fingers seem to be rather stubby to me. They work well with my touch screen. Maybe I just have long fingers but I have not had this problem with other gloves.

Very strange fit

The fit was so strange that I returned the gloves without determining if they were truly waterproof/breathable. The palms were too loose and therefore rather floppy and uncomfortable. I went by the size guide and the finger length was good, but the thumbs were ridiculously long.

Definitely not for cold weather

I was excited to get these. The day I received them I went for a walk in 33 degree weather and my hands were cold within 5 minutes. I never had a problem with gloves not fitting well with these the thumbs are a good 1/2 an inch too long but all my fingers fit fine. For the price I expected at least moderate warmth.

Not bad, nice gloves

Not the material I was expecting but they do the job they were bought for. the touch screen doesn't work great because the fingers are a bit too long. But that is not a big issue for me.

Firstly I wish I’d ha e listened to some of the other reviews and believed the content rathere than thinking “I remember my old sealskins and they were brilliant”. So firstly the actual quality of these gloves isn’t bad but it’s definitely not what it used to be. I bought a medium for my very average size 9 hands, and I can confirm like the other reviews say the thumbs are very long, the fingers aren’t bad but you need to push them right down into the web of your finger. The fingers are also quite right to the point of being constricting for blood flow, my fingers often feel cold because of this (nothing to do with the outside temperature as I’ve also tried this indoors and get the same result). The tough function again isn’t bad and can get you by but it’s nothing to rave about. They are indeed waterproof and wind proof. Sealskins definitely aren’t what they used and overall there not the worst but I wouldn’t recommend them.

A great pair of gloves to have in your pack when on the hills

I bought this pair as a Chrismas present for my brother but I've had a pair for a couple of years. They're great to have in my pack when I go hill walking, as they're small enough to leave in the top pocket. They provide plenty of warmth when it's cold on top, even when in cloud and everything's damp, and when I'm scrambling on wet rock and handholds have become puddles. Handy for snowball fights and making snowmen as well!

Producto bueno, pero no comprarlo

El pedido me llegó bien, pero a pesar de que los guantes me quedaban bien de talla, la parte de la palma era muy ancha y no se ajustaba. Al realizar la devolución como no es un producto Amazon el proveedor te da la etiqueta para el envío por Correos (y hay que pagarlo). Lo peor es que no he tenido respuesta a la devolución, y nadie responde ni me devuelve el dinero. Es un artículo caro y del que además pagas por el envío y por la devolución. Por eso aconsejo no comprarlo, al menos por aquí porque te estafan más de 50€ y te quedas sin nada.
