However big you think it may be, double that.
Ok so let me explain the pictures first. I wanted to show what an accurate size comparison was so I went with the Coke van and spray paint sized. It’s made very well. Seems very sturdy. You can almost fit a phone in it so car keys, paperwork, etc would be great. The size is almost its biggest down fall because it’s so dang big but depending on what you want, that could be the biggest benefit. I purchased to keep the registration in on the boat so it’s too big. For a beach or something, could be perfect.

A great scuba case for a RescueMe PLB1 personal locator beacon!
I recently purchased a personal locator beacon for backpacking and scuba diving trips: the ACR RescueMe PLB1. I was looking for a scuba rated case for the PLB1 unit and floating sleeve. This small cylindrical case is a perfect fit for the PLB1 IF you use the following instructions (pictures included): 1. Make sure the PLB1 floating sleeve is tethered to the PLB1 unit. This will prevent losing the unit if you accidentally drop it under water. 2. Fold the floating PLB1 sleeve, wrap the tether cord around the sleeve, and place the sleeve in the bottom of the case. 3. Place the PLB1 on top of the folded sleeve inside the case. The PLB1 will stick out a good ways. 4. Put the case lid on top of the PLB1 and gently push it down while screwing the lid on. This will slightly compress the neoprene floating sleeve inside the case and will make for a tight fit for the PLB1 unit. 5. Secure the dive cylinder in a BCD pocket or adjustable nylon molle water bottle holder attached to the outside of the BCD. 6. Have fun diving with the peace of mind that you will be rescued of you are lost at sea. Note that if you try to put the PLB1 unit inside the case without the neoprene sleeve in the bottom, you can get the unit in there but it will be really difficult to get the unit back out when you need it. The fit is really tight due to the small black antenna end.

Watertight, but lanyard beware
Purchased for a 5 day wade fishing trip for knife and readers. Did a great job keeping the content dry, it is water tight. Large enough for pocket knife and foldable reading glasses in case. Day 3 of the trip I noticed it floating past me and managed to grab it. The lanyard had failed, come undone, now lost. If purchasing re-tie or replace the lanyard before using.

Great for snorkeling!
I put my specially rental Jeep's keys in this in multiple snorkeling adventures in Hawaii. The company recommended not using devices such as this, but proved to be a champ. In seven days and as many snorkeling trips the car key stayed dry. Highly recommend!

Keeps things dry
I used the tube to keep track of my glasses while diving rather then leave them in the car. Other people were keeping their car fobs in them.

Worked great at water park all day!
I used this all day at a water park to hold my cigarettes and a lighter. They stayed dry all day.

Bigger than expected
No complaints about the durability or waterproofing. Bought so I could keep some stuff dry while hanging around the pool on vacation (basically my wallet). A little larger than I expected, but still can't fit a hotel room key in it.

Good for snorkeling
Good to store key fob when snorkeling or kayaking. (I insert key fob in sealed sandwich bag before inserting in egg for extra protection). Has not leaked. So far, I only tested it in shallow water (up to 1 meter). The cap screws on in half a rotation, so you may want to secure it from banging around and accidently unscrewing.

Dove to 100 feet - no leaks. Highly, highly, highly recommended.
Awesome, has a clip you can attach to your BCD, and then I just zipped it into the BCD pocket where it fit nicely. Dove to 100 feet. No leaks. This thing seals up tight, the o-ring is thick. I bet you could drive over this with a truck and it wouldn't break. Able to hold prescription glasses, a few keys, credit card/licence, pen and paper, go pro/camera batteries all at the same time. Its about the size of a small bottle of pop. Better than those underwater pouches as no pressure will be applied to the things you put inside, the case is tough. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

It works!
I bought this for the times when I am doing shore scuba dives and need somewhere to put my car keys. So far so good, though I've only tested it to about 20 metres. It seems easily strong enough to survive my local max of 35 metres, and the seal has performed very well with no hint of moisture ingress. I would have preferred a slightly smaller unit, but hey! No complaints!
