I got tired of keeping 3 or 4 waxes on hand. I decided to simplify with one wax to rule them all.
I just ordered a 180 gram block of this all purpose wax. I've always used temperature specific Swix wax formulations for my alpine skis but this year I said nah, enough of that, for a few reasons. 1.) I'm not racing any more, just recreational skiing. 2.) The weather here in New England has been all over the place the past 4 years. 3.) Any wax job will protect your skis and give you a more consistent glide than no wax at all. I decided to simplify my waxing tool kit with this one all purpose wax for 10 deg F to 36 deg F which is the range of temps I usually ski in. I grew tired of keeping 3 or 4 wax formulations on hand and trying to predict what conditions were gonna be then waxing for each day. Too much work for not enough return. This wax should provide a good glide if not "the best" results at the extremes of its stated temperature range. It means I only have one block of wax to keep track of. And it's pretty economical at Amazon's price for 180 gram block. That size block should get me through a couple of seasons with my 2 pair of alpine skis. As for speed, I have friends who are recreational skiers who have never waxed their skis or paid to have their skis waxed in their life. I'm not worried about being able to keep up with anyone. I just want to protect my ski bottoms and get a consistent feel and glide from my skis. This wax seems like the simplest most economical way to accomplish my goals.

Quality wax
Definitely the fastest of any universal wax. I raced for 6 years and had an array of waxes for different temps and snow types. Once I stopped I switched to this wax as my universal and noticed little difference during most days. No matter the snow quality or temp you can be sure this wax will keep you gliding fast. Melts and brushes off easily. Highly recommend.

Great Fast Wax!
Fast wax! I’ve waxed 6 snowboards with this universal Red wax and rode in different temps with great results. Easy to apply and scrape. Finished with a horse hair brush for best results. Will be purchasing again.

Glides well on typical Temps in CA
This wax is great and lasts several ski days for typical temps seen on the slopes of CA. Mix with a little blue for colder days or yellow for warmer days. It’s a good size bar for many wax jobs. I’ve reordered this wax for the past three seasons.

Läuft wie geschmiert
Bis jetzt wurden die Ski immer mit Flüssigwachs behandelt, aber diesen Winter wollte ich es ein wenig professioneller angehen. Das Wachs fühlt sich auch bei Temperaturen über 0 Grad noch wohl, grad in den Alpen ist das ja öfters der Fall. Die Packung ist ziemlich ergiebig, nach 12 gewachsten Skipaaren ist noch ein Großteil vorhanden. Die Ersparnis gegenüber dem Wachsen im Geschäft kann sich sehen lassen.

Gutes Wachs
Wird von mir seit Jahren als Grund- und Trainingswachs verwendet. Großer Temperaturbereich und einfach zu verarbeiten. Bin sehr zufrieden damit.
