My wife loves this gel seat.

My wife rides a 45 year old vintage French Motobecane that she loves but it had an old seat that was very uncomfortable on her derriere. I bought this Schwinn gel seat cover. It was very easy to install and fit the shape of the original seat closely. The draw-string closure with cord lock worked fine and held the cover snugly in place. My wife took the bike out for a test ride and when she came back she ran over to me, threw her arms around me and gave me a big kiss. She told me she loved me even more. I think this is the best testimony I can give this gel seat cover.

Great support for the ischium. Prevents perineal discomfort. Not much help for the coccyx.

I have a standard indoor cycle bike seat. After about 40 minutes, it becomes a struggle to stay on. I get pain along the ischial tuberosities or pain in the coccyx. Long after riding, I have had pain just sitting down. I ride my bike about 40-60 minutes but as long as 90 minutes. I have to switch positions frequently around the 40 minute mark. I had to find a solution so I gave this a try. This has a memory foam insert which is thin and pliable. It is not too thick that it interferes with the pedal stroke. The outer shell is a neoprene cover. It secures itself using a drawstring nylon tie down. Along the areas of where the ischial tuberosities sit, there is adequate padding. It has a longitudinal notch down the midline keeping the lower area of the pelvis from contact (perineum). So far, I have been pleased with the design. It's soft but provides excellent support. I have more comfort along the ischium but I don't feel the coccyx gets as much support as necessary. I have had a comfortable ride up to the 60 minute mark without pain so it has made a good improvement. I just wish there was more central support along the posterior aspect of the seat for my coccyx when I am biking upright. It definitely works. I am just looking for something that fits my needs more. Update: I have grown accustomed to the seat cover but I found others that feel better to me: Bell Gel Max and the New York 3 Silicone. I included pictures of them for comparison.

Adds some padding

Fits well. Easy to install, of course. Adds a little padding. Not equivalent to buying a cushioned seat, however.

The seat I bought and the one Amazon substituted were too small to fit my Schwinn stationary bike.

Great pad for Schwinn IC4

I purchased the Schwinn Comfort Bike Seat Cover Sport Seat/Double Gel version. It fits my Schwinn IC4 and has made the seat a lot more comfortable. My only complaint is the "new seat smell" is a bit strong for a few weeks. After that, you don't notice it anymore.

Lo compre como extra para un asiento ancho de Schwinn. Viene ligeramente mas pequeño que el asiento, por lo que se tiene que hacer mucho esfuerzo (con peligro de romperlo) para estirarlo y que quede cubriendo todo el asiento. Al lograrlo, se aprietan las correas con un sujetador anti deslizamiento y queda listo sobre tu asiento. Es muy comodo.

It was a bit disappointing

This was very easy to put on my stationary bike. I was very disappointed, however, that there was a sticker attached to the seat that was almost impossible to remove. It took a lot of effort and I still couldn’t get it all off I was going to send it back but decided not to waste any more time. I gave it a three on the comfort level as I still need padded biking pants when riding. I wonder if there are better ones out there.

Overall pretty good

I like gel seat covers for comfort. My only complaint is that the material doesn't tuck under the seat very well, wished there was about 1/2" more to ensure it went under the seat, having said that it's likely my seat that is the issue and not the gel pad.

Very comfortable

I like the original seat, but riding for a longer time, this cover makes the ride more comfortable. Only had it for a few months now, do not know about the longevity.
