My Great Dane loves this bed
I got this bed for my Great Dane and she loves it! As soon as it was ready for her to lay on, I put it down for her and she got right on it. It’s big enough for her to lay on her side with only her legs hanging off a little. It’s hard to find a bed that is thick enough and big enough for a Great Dane to lay of without it squashing it down to nothing and this bed did the trick. I would recommend this bed to anyone with a larger then large dog needing a comfy place to lay.

Firm thick pet bed
I bought this bed for my 14 year old Aussie mix. She has arthritis and she had two old beds for different areas that had gotten so flat over time that we stacked them to give her more padding. My father bought 4 of these beds for his dogs and recommended them to me. It took my dog a while to decide that the bed was hers and it was ok for her to lay on it. I like how thick and firm the bed is . It appears to support her entire 70+ lbs without compressing all the way to the floor like her old bed. The bed sits under a window between a large chair and the table at the end of my sofa, making a den like area out of the way for her to sleep. Because of its location, I have to step on the bed to open and close the window blind. I am impressed with the way the foam depresses to support my weight but immediately springs back to its original shape as soon as I move off of it. I have not had the bed long enough to remove the cover for washing so I can't comment on its durability and ease of cleaning but I plan to update this review with info about this at a later time. I only have one complaint/suggestion. I have not laid on the bed myself so I can't say this with 100% certainty, however, I believe that the bed is not very cool. My aussie has a thick double coat and she is mostly black. We live in the Midwest of the US so we have hot, humid summers. I've noticed that when my dog has been outside in the heat or otherwise gets hot, she prefers to lay on my kitchen floor, which is linoleum on a cement slab or the porcelain tile in our bathroom instead of her bed. I assume she is doing this because those surfaces are cool even though they are hard. The bathroom floor in particular is very cold even on the hottest days of summer. I will have to see if she continues to do this during the winter. It would be nice if the material was cooling in summer and warm in winter. But again, I can't comment on whether it really is or not, as much as my dog likes to talk to me, I have yet to learn to speak dog so I can't ask her why she lays on the kitchen/bathroom floor instead of her bed sometimes.

Nice Large Dog Bed
This wasnt was thick as i thought it would be. However it supports my 60 lb dog without sinking. Color is good. May buy another one for upstairs.

A life saver
This Brindle Waterproof Dog Bed truly is waterproof. We got this, not because our Anatolian Shepherd mix has accidents, but because we have a senior cat that does. When our dog isn't on his bed, and we don't prop it up while not in use, she will sometimes lay on it and then suddenly pee. It's always been a hassle before but this bed makes things so much easier. I just strip off the cover, wipe down the insert with a vinegar/water mix and throw the cover in the wash. If Finnegan wants to lay down on his bed while it's washing, we put the insert down and top it with a waterproof blanket he has until the cover is done. The cover is easy to get on and off and is durable. Finnegan seems to find the bed comfortable. Like I said, we prop it up when not in use and he will walk over and flip it down when he is ready to lay on it. We've gone through a few pet beds because of our senior kitty but Brindle may have solved the revolving bed problem. For the record, we have had our cat checked out and she doesn't have any medical issues in relation to her peeing, other than old age and attitude.

Easy to clean, still holding up
Had this for 6 months now and here's my thoughts: 1. My dog doesn't seem to chew this. To be fair, I only leave her in there at night and for about 4 hours in the morning after a walk, so she's not in there alone for 8 hours and she's well exercised. She DOES chew blankets or towels if we leave them in there, so my theory is that she mostly chews things when they are bunched up. 2. Cleaning is fairly easy. I got an old bedsheet and wrapped it around this a few times just for an added layer of protection, but when she chewed that up there was a week or so where we didn't have anything. The cover began to get fuzzy, so I took it off and ran it through the wash. The zipper made it easy to take on and off, and it was not damaged or thinned by going through the machine. I'm not interested in washing it weekly though, so I'm planning to keep a bedsheet on it anyway. At least with an old bedsheet I can throw it away if it gets truly damaged. 3. Waterproof: The fabric cover does not repel water. However, underneath the fabric is a plastic-like cover that does not come off. As far as I can tell, the water did not permeate it. It also does not appear to be stained/discolored. 4. Comfort: My dog sleeps well on this, so I can only hope she is comfortable on it. She goes willingly into the crate for bedtime, but she doesn't have any interest in going in during the day and prefers the bed or couch. Whether this is because of the bed or because she prefers to be close to me is completely up in the air. When I took it out to clean it or travel, it seems to still be soft but firmly retaining its shape.

I don't know how often you should change your dog's bed, but this bed still looks great after 3 yrs! I just wash and dry it when it's dirty and it's good as new every time. I can't attest to chewing but my dog would scratch the mattress when I washed the cover and it has held up to her scratches. Finally got a hole from her scratches as of 4/23

Buena calidad excelente diseño
Parecen ser de muy buena calidad. A mis perros les encantaron. Creo que es la primera vez que compro camas de perros por internet y no me decepcionan al verlas. El colchón es bastante grueso. Se hunde un poco con el peso pero cuando se levantan regresa a su forma. Colores y diseño muy elegante. Muy buena compra. Ahora a ver cuánto duran! Update mayo 2020: las camas siguen en muy buenas condiciones, lavo las fundas cada mes (muy práctica porque la funda tiene un cierre alrededor de toda la cama y no batallas para quitar y ponerla). Muy buena compra. Recomiendo ampliamente las camas Brindle!

Contented dog
We have tried other memory foam beds, but they have not been suitable as they were higher and much firmer. The large size is just about big enough for our Deerhound, he has arthritis and the soft foam is easy for him to get on and off, and so far it appears to be more comfortable and supportive for him.

Good for my Great Dane
I noticed several people asking whether the large size bed would be appropriate for big dogs. My Great Dane weighs 155 lbs. The bed is only rated for half that weight. But my Dane already has a big bed upstairs. I just wanted something relatively compact that he can lay on in front of the fireplace. The picture says it all. Once set up, he walked over to the bed, wagged his tail, plopped down, and fell fast asleep with the most cozy, appreciative expression on his face. He's been asleep for hours now. Yes, it's a tiny bit small for my huge Dane, but he made it work and is happy.

Me encanto la camita de mis bebecitos (perritos), cumplió con lo que indican, se ve el material muy resistente, que al principio lo dude ya que llega como los colchones de ahora en rollito jaja pero conforme fue pasando las horas llego a la medida hasta llegar como esta en la foto y bueno mis bebecitos lo dicen todo ellos felices y más para mi Toby que es ya de una edad grande y sus articulaciones le duelen. Así que volvería a comprar y los recomiendo. Aparte llego muy rápido en tres días ya lo tenia y eso que decía que me llegaría hasta más de 8 días. Nota: si llega con un olor medio rarito pero se va quitando con forme pasan las horas.
