Almost perfect

All twelve jars arrived in seemingly good shape. But the Wedgewood Blue's lid was not tightly closed. And so even though it did not spill, a lot of the moisture evaporated. Hopefully I can still use it. Editing to add a photo showing how the glazes look without and with clear glaze (satine clear) at low fire.

Beautiful vibrant colors!

These glazes produce bright opaque colors with just 1-2 coats and can be coated with a clear glaze and fired for a shiny finish. They work well in a microwave kiln!

Bright Colors

The media could not be loaded. I played around with the colors on this piece and as you can see from the video some colors can sort of blend into each other and some not at all. The colors are vibrant after you use a clear glaze on it. Without the glaze, the colors had a pastel look to it. Also in this piece I painted multiple layers of colors on it. I didn’t use all the colors they had but hopefully this helps you have an idea of the colors and how they look together.

Works well at cone 10

This is the review I wanted when I ordered these: they work well at cone 10. I painted on greenware, bisque fired, dipped in clear glaze, and cone 10 fired. Very happy with this underglaze set.

assorted colors were not sent as represented

The underglaze is fine but the assorted box has doubles of some colors, and is then missing others that were supposed to be in the box. Returning it costs time and effort, plus I won't have the thing that I ordered, and NEEDED at the time of delivery and I needed the red that was supposed to be in the box, instead of the double oranges

I love this product. The only issue was the greens can turn coppery in the kiln but other than that they're pigmented and gorgeous

Please improve packaging

The underglaze is fine, but the packaging needs to be improved. Six out of the 12 jars were cracked and leaking when I received the box!

Very Smooth

So far these underglazes are smooth and easy to use, can't wait to see how they respond to the glaze.

Was worried it would be pastel but turned out great. Need 3 coats. Colors comes to life once fired

I was worried because this underglaze is much more affordable than the other underglazes that are available out there. I am fairly new to the pottery world however after using the This Underglaze in comparing it to the underglaze that other colleagues use like amaco I can tell you that this underglaze works pretty well. When I brush it on my item they are pastel in colour but once fired and glazed with a clear glaze the colour becomes a vibrant. It is however very important that you do three at least three quotes per colour otherwise it will be pale and blotchy. The pieces that I’ve Taking the time to put at least three coats came out nicely. I fire at Cone six. I applied the underglaze to disk where applied the underglaze then glaze over top.

Great product

Beautiful product. I’m always skeptical about what the colours will look like after firing. These colours turned out beautiful and as expected. Nice consistency, full containers.

Good for medium fire

I used these on some gnomes. Applied on bone dry clay, bisque to cone 04, then fired again to cone 5 with a 15 min hold (along with a glaze load). The colours came out very nicely. Here is one of the blue shades with an orange nose on a white clay.

Vibrant

Colours are vibrant to cone 6. Lids were broken in transit, though.
