Not good

The sandals rubbed up my daughter’s ankles causing her to bleed. We were forced to reapply bandaids multiple times during a hike.

Made in Vietnam. So expensive, but nice.

These KEEN sandals are really cute. There’s both a Velcro strap on the front and on the back. There are also crossing elastic straps behind the Velcro strap in the front. So there is no way the foot should be coming out of this sandal! ;-) The bright patterned footbed does not have much give to it. Especially considering the weight of a child. There’s some arch support. The sole is non-skid. These shoes are Made in Vietnam. At the current starting price of fifty bucks, I think they are crazy expensive for what they are. But they do look to be made well, and I really like them.

I'm Impressed!

I'm the mom of a crazy active 3 year old. She's an adventurer at heart and loves to play outside, which means she typically trashes several pairs of cheap sandals each summer. I've heard nothing but good about Keen, and decided it was time to give some decent shoes a try to see if they'd last longer than the cheap ones. These sandals are fantastic! You can tell they were designed with great attention to detail. The uppers are made of materials that are soft, stretchy, breathable and fully adjustable for the perfect fit. I love the fact that these have Velcro closures so my 3 year old can put them on by herself. The footbed is well padded. I'm actually a little jealous because they look like they'd be more comfortable than my sandals! The soft foam footbed is set into a harder rubber sole that looks like it should hold up to endless running, jumping, climbing, swinging, or whatever it is that your little adventurer loves to do. They seem to have pretty good traction as well. These have a fairly significant arch support and generally seem like just a fantastic pair of sandals. They fit as expected. On my daughters first time wearing these we went on a two mile walk/scooter ride and she said they were really comfortable. When I asked her what she wanted to tell the people on Amazon she said she wanted to say "These are really comfy and you should buy them!" So there you have it! Straight from the 3 year old. Definitely a 5 star pair of sandals!

Easy to get on and off, very comfortable, and so far they seem to be very durable

We got these for our daughter primarily for going to the beach and there were two main things we were looking for: easy to get on and off, and comfortable. We've tried other sandals for her and some were really uncomfortable if she wore them for a prolonged period of time. Others fell apart pretty quickly. And one pair in particular were difficult for her to get on by herself and so we always had to put them on for her, which gets old after a while. These sandals have velcro straps (we love velcro straps!!!) and so she can easily put them and take them off by herself. That's a big win. And I asked her for this review if they are comfortable (although I suspect I would have heard about it already if they weren't) and she confirmed that they feel good when she wears them. These are a little more expensive than some of the other sandals we've tried but I think it's worth it. Ultimately, if the sandals aren't comfortable or fall apart after a few months, that's not really very helpful. So, I would definitely recommend these.

fit well, cute!

my daughter loves to wear open toe sandals and really likes these. they go with most of her outfits and she doesn't have to worry about getting them dirty. looks like they will hold up to her abuse as well. haha.

Premium toddler sandal! As an adult I'm jelly. These stay on and comfortable.

I really love these they are just adorable but really well-made and tough sandals. She has played and played in these on our farm. Like I said I'm a bit jelly and would love a pair exactly like these. They stay on brilliantly but do not bind or cause comfort issues. Would love more in these in other colors for her.

Get this

Very nice sandal for active toddlers. We live in Arizona and in the winter, live outdoors. This set of sandals is great for light hikes or hitting the playground. Very stable footing, the sizing was perfect. Comfortable on, no issues from the first time my granddaughter had these on. Easy to clean with the garden hose, they dry quickly. I will be ordering a size up for this summer. They are absolutely fantastic. Keeps my granddaughter so in control of her footing. Pretty important for a 3-year-old. Amazing price point, well-made shoe. Highly recommend this shoe, a brand I will stick with.
