Egret than the insoles that were with the shoes
These insoles and inserts are way better than I could’ve anticipated. They were able to sit with minimal rework. They are way better than the insoles that came with the original keen shoes that clumped up moved constantly and we’re problem.

More Comfortable Than Standard Footbeds
Lately I've been wearing a pair of Merrell hiking type shoes and having a little discomfort. The stock liners were also starting to stink. Ever since COVID hi and winter arrived, activity has been somewhat limited but I do spend a fair amount of time on my feet volunteering at the local food bank moving, lifting, loading cars and related things so when these came up on Vine and I decided to give them a shot. I ordered the size large that when trimmed down according to outlines on the footbeds fit nicely into a size 10.5 Merrell hiking shoe. They fit well in the shoes and make a nice replacement for the cheap footbeds that came with the shoes. These beds are stiff around the heel with with a gel sort of stuff directly under the heel to provide a little more cushion, though they are not springy, just more comfortable. The rest of the footbed is more like the footbed that came with the shoes but more comfortable and certainly an upgrade. It is definitely more comfortable to be on my feet running around at the food bank with these footbeds than the original ones. If they don't start to stink that would be an even bigger plus. So far they haven't started to stink but that usually takes at least 6-8 week before the aroma starts to waft up from a pair of shoes. While at this moment I have no other non standard footbeds to compare these to, these seem to be excellent footbeds. At $45, they cost about as much as my shoes (from Marshalls) and are rather expensive for non custom footbeds. There is another set of footbeds to try on the way and once I give those a go, if there is anything more to say about these compared to something else I'll update this. These are easy to adjust to fit most any shoe you might have by trimming them. They are more comfortable than standard footbeds and provide more support than the standard piece of foam that comes with most athletic shoes. At $45 they seem kinda pricey so I'd say the overall price/performance rating for these would be a solid 4 stars.

Inserts make a world of difference
Summary: Daily, I have worn Keen or Timberland mid-height boots for the past decade at work. The weak link always ends up being the inserts, so putting in new inserts buys a few more years of life (assuming the rest of the boot is still usable). Observations: I put a set of the neutral height in my daily boots back in April, and it was readily apparent that I had waited too long to change them out (probably a couple of years). These are the Outdoor line, and I will be putting these in my Keen Koven shoes, which I use a couple times a month (mostly on the weekend). These Kovens are from 2016, and they have the original inserts, so this will be a welcome change. I also ordered a pair of K-20 Outdoors for my wife's hiking shoes. Recommendations: Once a year (maybe sooner), take your inserts out and inspect them. You'd be surprised how compressed they get. When I get a pair of new shoes, I take a picture to remember the original condition, especially the thickness. When installing these, try installing them without cutting them, but if you find they can't lay flat because they are too long (or wide), then I would cut down one size at a time. Pros: Great fit & finish; size marks are clearly marked on the underside. Cons: Price Conclusion: At $42, these are a little pricey, so I am rating it 4-stars. Good heel support
I pulled the insoles out of my hiking boots and was blown away at how worn they were. The soles of my hiking boots are still in good shape but the insoles were really worn. I pulled these Keen insoles out of the box and they slide in and fit perfectly in my size 10.5 hiking boots. I immediately took them out for a 90 minute walk with my dogs which includes rocky trails and pavement. The thing that I like the most about these is that they do have good heel support. I could feel the difference wearing these. The arch support is not as good as it should be for my foot. I will also try their model that offers more arch support. This version is good and may work much better for someone that needs only minimal arch support. I can tell that they are much better than my old insoles, though. The quality is good.

fixes shoes that lost their comfiness
I got these for a pair of shoes i have that used to be real comfortable...i wore them quite a bit and while the outsides still look great, i think i beauty the insides a bit more. These will help make those old but still good shoes feel like new. Might have to trim the tips to fit your shoes...they have a guide like to help cut correctly. They have great arch support and for me more importantly the heel is nice and cushiony. The color is a bit bright but who cares, no one sees this inside your shoes. Just be warned that adding these insoles will make your feet lift up higher in that shoe and some shoes you might slip out of because your heel doesn't sit as low as it did and might keep popping up and out or rub the cutter rim of the shoes differently.

Good support, ok comfort
Let's start with the weird part of these - when I opened the mail from Amazon, the package for the insoles was already open and the insoles themselves appeared to have already been cut to size - but since it was the size I needed anyway, I didn't complain. So, these insoles are a little more firm and stiff than others that I'm used to - they provide good arch support, but they aren't really comfortable - not bad, but not great. They do have a gel heel, which provides pretty decent comfort throughout the day - and they are antimicrobial - which means that they are odor-resistant - so if that's a high priority for you, check these out!
