It does transfer!
I love how this looks, not orange and very easy to apply. No smell! But it DOES transfer so keep away from white clothing for sure

Made my leg look great
I love how my legs looked, but it does come off on clothes if your not careful. It transferred to the dress that I was wearing. It doesn’t stain, I got everything clean. But if you sit down somewhere make sure your legs don’t touch too much. It’s basically like makeup, so I even used on my face (treat it like makeup for your legs). Looked nice and worked well on my face.

This is a body makeup not a sunless tanner! When used appropriately, it is an excellent product!
I don’t normally write reviews, but this product had so many reviews that threw me off when reading them, that I thought this review might help. First, I want to say that this is an excellent product if you understand what it is and what its purpose is. This is a body makeup, not a sunless tanner! While it can, and does give a sun kissed glow like a sunless tanner, its uses and properties are vastly different. I got the “fairest” shade and it makes my very light skin look nicely tanned. It’s not a deep dark tan, but very close to my normal sun-tanned shade. I bought this product because, after multiple pregnancies, I have many unsightly veins on my legs that make me self conscious when my legs are visible. So let me highlight this product: 1.) It is a water resistant makeup foundation. It is not totally soap proof so you might see minor steaks after showering, it is not at all difficult to touch up and blend the streaks out. 2.) It is buildable until you get the coverage you need, or desire. The color does deepen the more layers you put on. I don’t find it necessary to use more than two layers. 3.) Since it is not a sunless tanner, it dries quickly and does not rub off on clothing once it is dry. Many reviewers mentioned mixing it with other lotions or lotioning the areas you normally lotion before using sunless tanners (elbows, knees, around feet and ankles, palms). This is not necessary or recommended. I believe this contributes to the many reviews that complained of it rubbing off. The other lotions disturb the adhesion of the foundation. 4.)The color you achieve after putting it on is the color it will stay. It does not develop over time like a sunless tanner. This makes it very easy to get flawless even coverage. The coverage I have achieved is not complete coverage, (I don’t believe you could cover a tattoo with it), but it does vastly improve discolorations and unsightly veins. The improvement is enough that I feel comfortable when my legs are visible. 5.) While it is marketed to the legs, this can be used beautifully on any area of the body including the face. 6.) It can be easily exfoliated away when you are finished with it. 7.) No special care is necessary when using your hands to put it on. It will wash off your hands with soap and water. 8.) I have received many compliments saying my legs have never looked so good!

tanning!
I moved from a summer climate to a winter climate and get way less sun on my pasty-white legs than I used to. So when I have a chance to wear a dress or shorts, it's almost too embarrassing! This lotion got me wearing dresses and shorts during our brief summers again. But you have to be REALLY careful about your knees and ankles, and I never perfected it, so I would only use it if I was wearing capris or dresses that came past my knees.

Perfect
This is a 10/10. We live in a world of filters and our expectations are a weeeeee cray cray. Being makeup, you have to rub it on. Keep rubbing until it's smooth on your skin. It won't be streaky or blotchy if you take a full minute or two to do so. Give it five-ten minutes to dry. If it fades at all over a period (mine lastly two days until I took a shower) it will be an even fade. I use a glove. Why would you think you can rub this onto your skin, and it not make your fingers tan? Use a mitt if you want. This is not orange. Natural tans usually have a warm tone to them - like flushed vibrant skin. This has a natural tone. If there wasn't any warmth it would be a bruised color. Skin can be warm, cool, or neutral. If this looks orange on you, your skin isn't warm or neutral. Very pale skin is very cool toned. Natural tans will look orange to you because you aren't used to warm or neutral tones in your skin. Italian olive skin can look almost green next to someone who is super pale. Other skin tones can look yellow, orange, or reddish next to someone who is cool toned enough. It's just not what you're use to with your natural skin tone. I could wager you find that 99.9% of all bronzers, tanners, etc. feel orange. That's why other times other people may try on a bronzer, and it looks like a bruise. Because tans are naturally warm in nature, you need a tone specific tanner. When looking make sure you search for tanners for cool skin tones, and they say for cool skin tones. Even ones for neutral skin tones you may think look a tiny tiny bit better but still orange. This is not a filler, filter, or plumper. It does not change the texture of your skin. It's a bottled lotion tan but not a lotion that gives you different skin. It will put a tan on imperfections but not hide them. Lastly about transfer... if you are sweating badly in the sun, you could argue this may rub off. I have not been outside sweating with this yet. I wore this under pants with them rubbing against my legs and didn't have any transfer. A little goes a long way. You put a DROP on ONE finger and rub it with circles moving outward until it's spread even. Two or three drops did my entire neck and collar bone/shoulders area. I'm guessing it's possible someone may have put a dollop on, and the unneeded excess was transferring everywhere. If there is transfer, you're using too much. Use a tiny bit, let dry, and then layer thinly if you want it darker. Or go up a shade. But rub it like you're rubbing it into your skin, not on your skin. You also can't have a product that doesn't have harsh chemicals (washable tanner) but still want it to act like the ones with harsh chemicals (DHA tanner). This is the best for a product that does not chemically alter your skin and could wash off with soap and water if you choose to do so.

A little goes long way awsome stuff
As you can see I dont use this on my legs its total magic in a tube seriously I've been wearing tan for years and work in the beauty industry. This covers blemishes evens out patchy fake tan only comes off with soap and water so spilt drinks not an issue ...when we could go out . But I also use it on my face with moisturizer when I dont want to wear make up but also dont want to look dead lol

Excellent product, helps with visible angry veins!
Highly recommended - saw another review advising they're good to cover up disable leg veins (which at the age of 26, I'm very self conious habout) - fake tan does help, but can still see the purple through the tan. As this product is more like a foundation it is perfect!! I think I can actually go out in a dress now without feeling self conious! Feels smooth and doesn't transfer. I would however, recommend putting it on with a tanning Mit just to make sure it's even.

Don't have to build up colour
Although l have pale skin l find the medium glow is just right. I like the fact you don't have to build up the colour, just use it as and when required. I have found it better to use moisturizer first, spreads much better, l also use latex gloves to apply. The beauty of this, is that you can touch up any parts where it has maybe rubbed off, ie when you take sandals/shoes off. Also, if you don't rub your legs too hard when showering it can last a couple of days. Definitely would buy again. Arrived before due date.

Don’t use white towels
After ready the reviews I decided to buy this as I have very bad varicose veins and can never wear skirts but thought it would make me feel better around the house . I put it in a few days everyday before I went away for a few days and stopped in s hotel with crisp white towels . Let’s just say they were brown after a shower . I did read the reviews and a lot of people said it did nt transfer on sheets . Well it does in towels . I think if they do a fake tan rather than a leg make up I might try that as I m sure that stays in the skin better .

Gives a lovely and natural tanned appearance to the legs.
This product is very messy, you should apply it with your hands though, despite this, for best result. The colour is totally natural, ( I always buy the dark) and applied liberally, it spreads evenly, and gives a perfect tanned look to the legs, with almost total coverage of imperfections. This is such a fantastic tan cream, the best I've ever used and I've used plenty in the past due to my chicken white legs! Takes a bit of practice because the product isn't as loose and spreadable as other creams, but once you've got used to the application its awesome to use. It doesn't transfer, or stain, and is very long wearing. Highly highly recommend.
