It’s good.

Perfect; which there was a step 2 or next step after this deck!

I've been looking for something like this for very long, I buy often from Learning Resources, 2nd time for cards but 1st time for cards like this. I wish they had a "Part II" of this deck so I could buy another and know it's not going to repeat cards.

What what you pay...

For what you pay I'd expect maybe a little more or alittle better quality? Thickness of the cards could be better. Using for our Autistic son to recognize new words, etc.

Only one race of people depicted on cards

These cards are used everyday with children and even heavily sanitized, and are holding up. However, there is only one race of people pictured and it appears they depict the people where they were manufactured.

A must for online ESL!

If you are an online ESL teacher, these are a must. I use these almost daily in my lessons. Basic vocab cards that help you tpr. They have held up well. They are sturdy, durable and thick. I like that one side says the word while the other is blank so you can level up or down.

Lots of cards geared toward school

These are maybe a little sturdier than some flashcards we've used but similar to most. I didnt realize there were so many class and school related ones prior to purchasing and homeschool so they arent the most ideal for my purpose. My nonverbal kindergartener is doing great with them however!

These cards are perfect for autistic children / adults that are non verbal or for adults who have Alzheimer's. I gave 4 stars because I would prefer some of the cards to be more definitive of the word shown, example: 'arm' is a photo of a child from the torso up with an arrow pointing to the arm. I would rather have a photo of just an arm with nothing else in the background. The 'mood' cards don't express 'anger', 'scared', 'excited', or 'hot' very well; all of the mood cards look like happy children. I wish there were more food cards and more animal cards. Other than those few little things, I love these and will be using them daily with my family member who has down syndrome.

American...

I am a primary school teacher, so I have ordered this for my child and for my class. Pros: Good for introducing flashcards to children. Excellent photography of certain images (like weather). Cons: Some cards were not relevant - like side walk. Around 20 cards out of the entire pack were American-only based.

Excellent to represent diversity

I have purchased many of the 'picture my picture' flashcard packages The Emotions pack is particularly good for its representational images of children and adults from cross cultural backgrounds. The lettering displaying the written emotion is approximately font size 24 which is very clear for people with low vision. Would prefer a few more emotions (maybe 2 cards of each emotion rather than 4 so that more emotions can be represented).
