3 Apartments so far!

I've been installing these units in all remodeled apartments, these units are being used as main heating system, run very quiet, and consume very little energy. Also look very cool/modernans are easy to install. I would highly recommend it!

Has 3 wire 220v hookup

Unit now installed looks sharp and works well. Two things to be aware of: 1. The unit presents 3 wires to attach to your 220v line. Many modern household 220v circuits in the US and Canada are run with 4 conductor cable. The installer must make a decision how to make 3=4. My native risk aversion makes it impossible for me to state what I ended up doing. Please consult a pro before you connect to power. 2. There are a lot of programming options to control the heater's various functions and abilities. For me the number of choices presented made the experience of putting the unit into service less pleasurable that it could have been with fewer, more easily achieved goals. That being said, the default settings work well to use the heater in the traditional "turns off when set temperature is reached" old-school way.

The Best Contemporary Bathroom Heater

This bathroom heater is amazing, for a variety of reasons. It is a very contemporary modern design, very easy to install with plastic screw-in the wall anchors (do not need to secure to studs), produces ample heated air for a 150 sq ft bathroom and the fan is very quiet. The programming options are many, but a little more complicated than programming a coffee maker! If in doubt how to program all the options, your kids and grand-kids can probably do it with no problem! I'm very happy with this purchase!

Loud and dumb

Bizarre 5 star reviews out there. I’ve had this thing installed for a year in my guest bedroom and people dread being in it because of this cursed heater. It is so loud it will shock you awake every time it comes on, which would be literally 100 times an hour. Sounds like an obese vacuum cleaner that can only sustain 10 seconds of operation before it has to go grab an inhaler. Every time it turns on it makes you want to grab a sledgehammer and destroy it. A loud click followed by an obnoxious fan and ear shattering hum to yank you out of a deep slumber before it loudly clicks itself away 10 seconds later as if just to pi$s you off for no reason. This is the only electronic device I truly hate. There is a delonghi heater in the other room that runs completely silent. The rusty old heater in the garage is like a meditation companion by comparison. For those wanting to believe that a german brand surely must at the very least be better than the hordes of China junk on Amazon, you would be right… only if you wanted a heater that will force your guests to suffer like a ww2 sleep deprivation torture chamber and emerge the next morning twisted and angry.

I have installed many electric wall heaters over the years and this was the easy way to go. Did not need to bash a hole in the wall or run wire. Buy this

220v heater

Bought this for a 210 sq. ft. master bathroom that only has 2 small hot water kick space heaters that were just not enough especially after showering. I went with this 220v heater because it only draws 8 amps, has a thermostat and an on/off switch and didn’t have to put a large hole in the wall to install. I did raise it up to 12 inches from the floor rather than the suggested 6-8 inches only because the switch and thermostat are on the side to make it easier to use. As for heat it is sufficient for what I need, much better than your run of the mill plug in space heaters and the fan is pretty quiet. Front face of the cabinet is metal but the back is made of plastic. People complained about seeing the wire coming out of the wall into the heater so I made the hole for the wire about 2 inches from the center cross brace in the bracket and ran it up to the knockout. The heater has a small plate mounted on top so when your standing over the heater you don’t see the wire. All in all it looks like a quality product and yes I do recommend it.

Really warm (hot even) air with a strong and silent blower! My third one for our bathroom and the best so far comparing to other brand we had!
