I love the gloves. Dissapointed that the inside material ripped

Update 2/15/2019: I would not buy these again. The little hole inside the gloves turned into a big hole. Now all four fingers come in contact with the foam. The foam material is coming out of the gloves which means that there is less padding for protecting my hands. I tried to contact Ringside. No response. I called Amazon who also tried to contact Ringside. Amazon was put on hold and the call transferred to a voicemail. Neither Amazon nor I were able to contact Ringside. I would caution prospective buyers on two points regarding these gloves. One, don't expect any support from Ringside. They have a 120 day warranty but assume that there is no warranty because it's very difficult to contact them. Second is that the lining inside the gloves is a really thin material. It does not hold up well to rigorous striking. This will lead to a hole which inevitably leads to padding coming out. I don't understand why $70 gloves don't come with better inside lining that can withstand the riggers of striking. My Venom gloves are much more well built with thicker more protective lining inside. This is my last Ringside purchase. I don't take kindly to companies that dismiss their customer's concerns and maximize their margins by using cheaper, less durable material. Original review Purchased May 2018: I get a lot of compliments on these gloves. I think I got a defective one though. The inside material has a hole in it from where the seam is ripping. While it doesn't really impact me that much I can't really fix it myself without opening up the glove. I trained maybe 20 times on a heavy bag when the hole showed up. I like the feel of the gloves. I really like them for heavy bag work because I feel that it protects my hands at 16oz and foam molded. I'd buy them again.

Ringside ????

Great product , difficult strap in there is a Velcro strap and an elastic band. the only reason I gave these ones 4 stars and not 5 is that mines had a paint stain, which wasnt too noticable. overall great product and comfortable to wear although the strap in is difficult the elastic band adds extra compression need when throwing punches. The design makes them beautiful gloves to wear when training or sparring plus the cushioning on the knuckles is perfect.

Tight fit but good gloves at a great price

I've used these gloves for three weeks now, and basically I'm very happy with them. Like all Ringside products I've seen, these are well designed and solidly made from quality materials. Note that the gloves have an elastic wrist band designed to cover the Velcro strap designed to protect your sparring opponent from being scraped by the strap, but it does make for a tight fit -- if you're on your own expect to use your teeth, especially with wraps. I really like the feel of the glove on my hands -- the gloves are molded to be comfortable and provide good striking protection. The description says all "striking surfaces" are leather, and I believe that is the case; the vinyl thumbs are fine. I also really like the design. Perfect for punching out a Trump supporter.

Very protective, great value, cool design

Love these. The knuckles are super cushioned, so you can punch even dense, sandbag type heavy bags hard without much pain. There's a little built in sleeve to cover the Velcro to avoid cuts when sparring, which makes the wrist a little tight. I like this. Helps keep everything in place, especially if I throw a lazy punch, so I don't twist my wrist all awkward like. These are 16oz. I have a medium to large size hand, and feel these could fit a larger hand, but snugly. I personally don't feel this is bad. Again, this aids in keeping my joints in a stable position for hard strikes. I have gotten compliments on these from a few people (and they weren't even mexican!) For the money, I'd say these are about as good as it gets.

Good gloves

Had them for awhile now and they’re pretty sturdy. Only complaint is there’s no way to tighten or loosen around the wrist so putting them on by yourself takes a minute but other than that I really lie them

Awesome Pair of Gloves!

These are my first pair of gloves. Well sort of... I bought some cheapO contender gloves. Trainer told me to get some better gloves so I got these (also because of the mexican flag on them). So far so good. They fit my hands well and there is a lot of wrist support and velcro can be covered in case you have to spar with someone. No I haven't sparred yet. Awesome first pair of gloves. I would definitely buy ringside gloves again.

I bought these for my husband cuz he saw them on Let go or offer up and was sad to know that not only was it not offered but it was posted 8 months ago. Long story short, I bought him these gloves as an early anniversary gift. He used them and everyone at the gym fell in love with the gloves and wanted to know where he got them.

Great fit!

The fit of these gloves is just awesome and the quality is great for the price! I use them for sparring and we’ll see how long the flag lasts without losing colors but so far I absolutely love these gloves!

Good for sparring not bag.

Great sparring gloves, they have ample padding so you don’t bruise or scratch up partner too much, and also has good wrist and thumb support to protect you. They are not bag gloves as the soft and padding placement makes the front cushioned they will tear easily when hitting a hard object heavy constantly.

Couldn't be happier, great gloves

Couldn't be happier, great gloves. They replaced a set of everlast protex2 gloves. These are much better quality then my previous gloves and that is saying a lot. They look even better in person then in the photo. They seem to be all real leather so once they were broken they performed great. They were a little tight breaking in but I am a large guy with big hands. I would totally buy again.

High quality, need a second person to get them on though

Gorgeous gloves and superbly made. Very hard to put on though - you need to roll he elastic cuff back, have someone hold the glove, force the hand in, and then have the wrist strap secured followed by unfolding the cuff. Nearly as much work as laceup gloves. But secure and well made.
