Good product for what it is

So far the bag has been good, ringside makes good stuff. No damage to the bag or problems with the stand. Having said that, I'd recommend a bag with a spring halfway up the stand. The speed of this is not very fast and isn't suitable for a lot of drills. But for what it is, it's a good product.

The media could not be loaded. I am not a pro, or am, or even very good so if you are a high level striker, this review probably doesnt help you... This is a great little bag to have fun with and get a good sweat going. its great for finding timing, rhythm, and distance. it also forces you to keep your head moving or your hand up (sometimes both). Its not a heavy bag so don't expect to giving it hail mary's, and its not a speed bag so don't expect to be daping the ice picks. its like a heavier free standing cousin of a double ended bag. originally I had it set up in my living room with weights on the base. that was noisy and unstable. i filled the base with water and moved it to the garage where it performed much better. the only times i have had any stability issues is when i was popping it harder than i really should have. i would guess ive put about about 120 3:30 rounds in on it. I had the graphics rub off on maybe my 60th round and i have to re tighten the pole into the base once out of every maybe 20-25 rounds. the spring, base, and bag itself are all in very good condition. i really have no complaints. one thing that i have been really enjoying is the skill curve on this bag. this bag give opportunities get off some wild off angle punches, fun counters, and interestingly timed combos.

Great for beginners!!!

I used to do some mma, but got out of it and got fat. Now I'm not as fast as I used to be so this is great until I improve my skill set and lose some weight. It's inexpensive, sturdy and easy to set up, I even put it together without instructions or help.

Incredible.

This thing is amazing, you will get tired but want to keep going because it is so fun. You can work on all types of punches with it and since my accuracy is terrible It was flying all over the place which was fine because I could work on right and left hooks. At first I was missing badly when the bag was going side to side then I learned I could use hooks for that and it was remedied. I had no issues with the stability it stayed right where I put it but BE CAREFUL because this thing has some snap to it and WILL knock you out. Absolutely amazing 5 stars.

Much Better than the Everlast Reflex Bag

This is a fantastic reflex bag! I've also owned an Everlast reflex bag and I like this one much more. In comparison to the Everlast bag, this one has a much stronger spring so it moves faster and can actually provide some resistance. The shape of the bag also allows you to work on uppercuts, which is harder to do with the Everlast bags. My only complaint is that the fastening mechanism that allows you to set the height of the bag is not very good. If you don't tighten it super tight, the bag will either come flying off in the middle of a workout or it'll slowly slink down in height as it loosens with each hit. This forces you to tighten the fastener so tight that it's inconvenient for a quick adjustment in the middle of a workout and also fastening it super tight damages the post attached to the bag. I had a similar problem with my Everlast bag. Keeping the bag secure required overtightening, which eventually led to the pole getting so heavily dented that the bag lists to one side. So far that doesn't appear to be happening to my Ringside bag, but the pole is starting to get dinged up.

Worth the Price

The media could not be loaded. A good bag to practice on if you want to move up to the cobra bag, decent feeling padding on the ball. Simple setup, it took me about 15 minutes to unpack, assemble, and use.

Good sturdy workout equipment

Good quality product, stable and firm enough to do the job. Great workout equipment for cardio and beginner boxing. One problem is with the fill hole, too small to fill without spilling. Best fill in is with combo sand and water. You don't need to overfill, base is stable and wide to keep it steady during workout. Other issue is, I had to drill a small hole at the bottom to keep the spring from coming out of the socket and screw it in place a small machine screw. Reflex bag itself can take the hit, the spring is quite sturdy and strong to give it a good bounce. I would recommend a buy for the money.

Good product for home

Holding up well, instructions for assembly of limited use, though pieces go together okay. Sand used, not as much as required as I'm not a guy the base has been steady no movement. Bag holding up, good response to combinations and accomplishes the aim of practising boxing skills, not kill the bag.

Very Slow

It's not fast enough. More designed for absolute beginners. The spring should be in the middle not the bottom. If you want to practice your reflexes this will not do you any good as the reflexes required to use this bag is somewhat of the same level as a drunk man in his 90s.

Top ruptured after 3-4 months of use - EDIT RATE 5 STAR

Product is easy to assemble and came quickly. However, after three/four months of use the head ruptured and caused a lot of mess and will soon come off leaving use the pole exposed and nothing to punch. EDIT: I reached out to Amazon and they provided me the contact information of the Manufacture. I got a hold of them through online text, and sent them the order details/invoice and photos and they sent me a replacement, no questions/difficulty at all. Wonderful customer service. I'll continue to train!! Highly recommend. You’ll see the photo of the old and the new parts.

Does the job well.

Good quality parts. I filled it with traction sand which is actually crushed gravel about 5mm in diameter or 1/8 of an inch. I filled it about half full and it's quite heavy so as not to move the base much when a heavy punch is thrown. The filling hole is not wide open where you can fill it with pebbles and stones. There are channels just under the opening that are narrow so that you can only fill the base with water, dry sand, or finely crushed gravel. With the last option, it's an hour's work including the vacuuming of the floor for the gravel that doesn't get into the base.

Broke in 20 minutes

The media could not be loaded. The product broke within 20 minutes of use. I have now spent 3X longer trying to fix the thing than I have using it. The metal bent and now I have to try to bend it back to it’s original shape so it can hold in place. Very disappointed as I used the mostly positive reviews to base my purchase of off. I have other ringside products and so far I’ve realized the majority of negative comments I’ve seen about them are in fact accurate. Will not recommend this company.
