I am a beginner
I am a beginner. I purposely went out to YouTube to find metal detectors being used. This would help me understand the product when I get it and watch those videos and help understand how to use it better but in all honesty I guess I’m mentally challenged on many levels I guess because I still can’t figure it out with East how to use the device and understand all the sounds… Which is probably not the product issue and it’s definitely the end-user However the product does tout that it’s easy to use and I didn’t find it to be that way, but that’s just my opinion but if you do have some experience with a metal detector I’m sure you would figure out this product much faster and enjoy it a lot more than I do

Well made product, easy to use, perfect start.
After lengthy research into what metal detector to buy as a first time hobbyist, I first decided on the slightly cheaper F22 but then decided that the extra features of the F44 were worth it. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The positive features of this product far outweigh any negative qualities and I have been extremely happy with it so far. The larger search coil makes finding things much quicker and was the main reason I chose this detector. If you are interested in finding items faster, it's well worth it. The pinpoint feature works pretty well, but not amazingly. It definitely gives you a clearer idea of where to look, but there's usually still a good amount of searching around. The depth that the detector searches is very good, and seems to be a maximum of about 14 inches or so, although most everything found so far has been within a few inches of the surface. Sensitivity overall is great and can detect even very small things. I really like the different search modes and the ability to adjust sensitivity easily. That all being said, I think if you are just stating out and you just want to see whether you like metal detecting or you just want to have a few hours of fun every now and then, go with the slightly cheaper option. If you are really interested in searching regularly and want something well built and reliable, with some extra features, this product will be a great choice.

F-44 will find deep targets
The depth is good. The F-44 is light and ergonomic. I really like this machine. Just know it will find pull tabs and identify them as silver.

Quality detector with great features
Got it for Christmas. Used it with 11 year old nephew. We loved it. We found oodles if coins in my parents’ lawn and at the park. None of the coins were old. But it is such joy to find something of value. We used the coin setting. Great that you can tell it to disregard steel/iron to avoid wasting time on trash. I definitely needed to be able to calibrate the mineral level in the different soils I was searching in. Big differences. Liked being able to know the depth I had to dig before digging. I still need to get better at recognizing what the conductivity numbers may be telling me in terms of what the item might be.

Do not recommend this detector for the beach
In your description of this detector the Fisher F44 it stated it was good at the beach and waterproof .The truth be told once your on the sand you get a lot of false readings. Tried lowering ground forget it.just about impossible. Once on wet sand worthless. Didn't even try to go in waters edge. I would love to return it. Due to false advertising.. This unit is only good on dry land. This is what needs to be stated.

Needs a bit more work on the design
I am a beginner, and this is not easy for me to use!! The arm rest in too long for me, and the screen could stand to be a bit bigger! Again I’m just learning!!! But it seems like “”Your Price is steep” for what you are getting, may I suggest some freebies!! Like a shovel, or bag to carry your items in! Will comment again after I become more experienced!

Missing parts
My detector was delivered missing the lower stem . When I tried to return it, it was going to cost 65 pounds. Considering I had waited over two weeks for the product to arrive and there not been a ups drop off point where I live I was unable to return . Spoke to Amazon. Unable to send the Missing part . Not good enough for 330 pounds. I have had to source the missing part elsewhere costing another 25 pounds

Ich habe das Gerät jetzt ca. 2Monate. Bin alle 3Tage auf Tour damit. Nachgerüstet mit der Corse Spule ein klasse Gerät, dass auch kleinste Metallteile findet. Wasserdicht, Beleuchtung und das Ausblenden von Eisenteile waren mir wichtig. Das alles und viel mehr kann dieses Mittelklasse Gerät. Habe schon viele Münzen, Gürtelschnallen und andere tolle Sachen gefunden. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Zu obigen Produkt. Verpackung optisch ok, Lieferung erfolgte schneller als erwartet. Prima! Fisher FF 44 ist für diese Preisklasse ein tolles Gerät für schon gehobene Ansprüche. Die Beschreibung ist verständlich gut, nachvollziehbar und jederzeit anwendbar. Es deckt so ziemlich alle Ansprüche ab und ist für mich das optimale Gerät zum sondeln. Diverse Funde konnte ich bereits machen und ich freue mich sehr über die präzise Anzeige der Fundorte, was bei meinem anderen Gerät nicht möglich war. Ein Vergleich zu noch hochwertigeren Geräten steht mir hier nicht zu, da Fisher F 44 meinen Ansprüchen voll gerecht wird. Ein tolles Gerät :)

Für den Einstieg in mehr als optimal
Ich habe mir dieses Gerät als Hobby zugelegt um einfach mal mit dem sondeln zu beginnen. Der Aufbau war recht einfach das Gerät war sehr gut verpackt Batterien waren mit dabei. erst mal die Bedienungsanleitung studieren hier wird erklärt wie das Gerät in Betrieb genommen wird und kalibriert das Pumpen ist sehr wichtig damit die Ergebnisse auch zuverlässig sind. zu den Einstellungen wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben ziemlich einfach und logisch zu verstehen. Ich habe sehr viel Zeit damit auf Feldern Wiesen und Wäldern verbracht. Und bin durchaus zufrieden habe sogar einige alte Münzen gefunden natürlich aber auch sehr viel Schrott mein Fazit als einsteigergerät ist das durchaus mehr als zu gebrauchen sehr kompakt gute Funktion lange Haltbarkeit gute große Spule ????????
