Great snowshoe for the price!
Disclaimer - I haven't taken them out on a hike yet, but wow! What a good value already. I paid the same amount for snowshoes from Costco about 5 years ago and the bindings have always been extremely frustrating. I had anticipated needing to spend $200 for a decent pair to replace them, but these had great reviews from an independent research site as well as consumers. I received them today and tried putting them on. Infinitely better than my Costco ones! The ratchets work well and all the straps are nylon vs plastic. There is a nice heel lift and a great, breathable case to store them in. I can't wait until next winter to take them out!

Easy casual use
So easy to put on and off, durable and ease on snow and ice! Haven't done extreme hiking in them but many walks across the frozen lakes and up hills with the heal risers! LOVE these!

High quality snowshoes at a great price
I have been using these snow shoes for a few weeks now and do not regret my purchase in the slightest! I am new to the snowshoeing world so I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on a pair so after reading many reviews on this particular brand I decided I would give them a try. They work great and help me cruise right over the snow with no issues! They are easy to get on and off and are very sturdy! Highly recommend these snowshoes for your next adventure!

Good For The Money
For the low price paid these are fine for recreational off trail snow hikes. It’s all about the bindings. These are okay, plastic ratchets work but prone to wear out if doing heavy duty daily. Occasional use they get job done. Snow shoe hiking is super fun especially with thermos of hot elixir blanket and Sturdybac chair and backpack. Don’t be cooped up explore the winter.

Work as intended
Bought these a year ago and finally got to use them. They fit well. The clips near the front of the foot, when tightening seam to slip so you have to be careful doing the top front ones. But they worked really well.

Great in deep powder
Bought these a few months back and finally used them for the first time a few days ago. I had roughly 5” of powder to use them in, they did great. They stayed on and were easy to use the ratcheting straps and take off. These were not good to use on a packed trail. The snow gums up under the heel and crampon part under the toe which throws off your gait then you have to stop and clear out the packed snow which is hard to do and annoying. The heel strap has a removable rubber grip on it. This needs to be shorter in length for those with smaller feet bc you can’t get it tight enough unless you remove this.

Easy to use
These were my first snowshoes. I found them easy to put on and take off and they work great. I like the ratchet system to tighten and loosen - it's really fast & easy.

Poor Quality
First pair broke within the hour, second pair broke within 30 seconds. Snowshoes could not hold the weight it advertises they can. I’m 165lbs so I got the 25inch shoes. As soon as I started walking, one of the side buttons/washers pop off. Sent them back, requested a new pair. Got the second pair, same exact piece breaks off even quicker. Sent back, requested a refund. Very unsatisfying & underwhelming product. You get what you pay for; I went to Atmosphere to buy my current pair. Louis Garneau is the brand, paid $169.99 + tax (on sale from $240) and I would review them as 4.5 stars. I guess some things just aren’t meant to buy on Amazon. Sent back 2 pairs, so don’t have the chance to leave a photo. However, take my word for it, these aren’t worth much. They caused me a hassle more than anything.

Made in China... not for Quebec snow @ -24C?
Used them twice this month: Once IN a trail and once to OPEN a new trail. They do what other snowshoes do but... these throw up the snow so my back -gets and- stays snowcovered. Also, them plastic bindings and ratchets got complete frozen and stiff. No way to adjust them while underway! Haven't tried the heel lift yet...

EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE - RECOMMENDING TO FRIENDS
I haven't been on snowshoes since 1996 and then only once. easy to add and remove; immediately walking with no issues, didn't have to adjust the straps (4 hr walk), surfaces were packed snow and powered fresh snow, deep snow with crust, flat and slight hills. I do recommend using with hiking poles but that might only be because we always walk with them.

Not meant for deep snow
Lost a different rivet on the boot attachment on the second, third and fifth outings. Easy fix if you are handy. They work great on hard packed snow but are not meant for breaking a trail or hilly terrain which are the fun parts of snowshoeing. If you plan on getting out there for a good workout spend the extra money ;)
