Heavy Duty

The weather has been chillier than normal so I have grilled out the last three nights using these skewers. The dual prong works great with softer foods like onions, shrimp, meat, etc. Mushrooms not as well. My problem has been getting the parallel prongs to stay parallel, as the food is pushed on the prongs tend to come together, like railroad tracks do in the distance. Just something to be aware of, it's not a defect or anything, and I have gotten better at keeping them parallel. I do love how food items will not spin when flipping the skewers over which is the main reason for my purchase. Looking for a good set of single skewers for mushroos

Tabs of the scewers are cover in clear plastc film

Can't say how sturdy these are as I've only used them once. Would have been higer rated except I used these on the grill with clear plastic film on the tabs. Sticky mess and I had to use Xylene to get the residue off and then 220 and 800 grit to get the finish back. Just remove the film which I did not notice.

Rösle too proud!

Ok Rösle, pedant here, I already own eight of these skewers. The eight older ones hang perfectly on the open kitchen rail. Much advertised by Rösle. The four skewers that have just arrived are about a millimetre too narrow at the top junction to anchor firmly on the rail. This means they sit about 5mm proud of the others. Looks pretty unsightly. Especially given the premium quality and price. (Am in no doubt they'll function just as well though.)

Great BBQ sticks will order more, having two prongs was great for cooking fish and keeping the food in one piece.

A must have

I would say 4,9. If you for instance use it for harder materials it can be bent easily. Nothing to worry about, this is my 2nd pair already. If i wasn't satisfied from the first pair I wouldn't have bought a 2nd pair. I think that says it all. A must have, very easy to use, clean I use these for prawns, small sausages, onions and much other things. Also the end is very good , as with some decent bbq tongs you can pick everything up very easily

Tolle Spieße, aber Vorsicht Folie am Griff!

Super Spieße, aber Vorsicht, der Griff ist auf beiden Seiten mit einer kaum sichtbaren Folie beklebt! Sieht man nur bei genauem Hinschauen oder beim Erhitzen auf dem Grill... Ich habe sie mit einem Fön gelöst, aber trotzdem bleiben Kleberreste zurück. Wer denkt sich so etwas bescheuerten aus bei einem Gegenstand für Lebensmittel? Abgesehen davon aber prima.

Spieße sind gut

Bis dato habe ich auf meinem Smoker immer mit Holzspießen gearbeitet, wo das Fleisch dann auf dem Rost kleben geblieben ist oder sich beim wenden der Spieße dann mitgedreht hat. Dann sah ich in einem Video solche doppelten Grillspieße und auf der HP des Herstellers auch die Halterung dazu. Allerdings habe ich mir nicht die aus dem Video bestellt, sondern die von Rösle. Ich bin eigentlich recht zufrieden damit. Besser wäre jedoch wenn die Rösle-Spieße um etwa 1cm länger oder die Halterung um 1cm schmäler wäre. Dann müsste man beim Wenden und Umschlichten nicht so aufpassen, müsste keinen Grillhandschuh tragen, sondern könnte sogar die Grillzange verwenden. Trotzdem, ein gutes Produkt, welche es auch erlaubt, die Spieße mit unterschiedlichen Glazings zu veredeln. Man kann sogar Faschiertes, Gemüse oder Banane drauf packen. Insgesamt recht toll und der Preis geht in Ordnung. Die Spieße mit der Halterung sind gleich lang wie die der 4er-Packung.
