Very Helpful
I don't usually carry a net, because they are kind of a pain when you are walking a long distance to get to your fishing spot. This gripper helped me secure several large fish before they could flop away. Paid for itself the first time I used it. Also is really nice because it allows you to remove treble Hooks from the fish's mouth more safely. Especially if you are dealing with fish with teeth.

Simple, Light-Weight, Quality....and it floats
If you've ever dropped your stainless gripper in the lake, like I have, you'll appreciate that these grippers float. They are a simple and effective solution that feels like quality and should last a long time. I do recommend this product.

Great value.
These are a great value. A lot of people don't realize but color matters, I fish at night during the summer and the color white is very important so you can easily see things. The design is good, it grips the lips very well and I like how the forward facing portion of the handle angles away from your hand helping increase your grip with ergonomics. If your fingers are long enough it can be manipulated with one hand if need be. As far as how much weight it can withstand I've only used this on 10 lb fish and below so I don't know if it could handle heavier fish well.

For Big Gnarly Fish
These are exactly what I needed. Had the smaller set and those work well but when I caught the first monster pike earlier this year I realized my grabbers were too small. Rather than take my chances getting a nasty bite and an infection, I cut my line and ordered these, and went back for revenge! ????

Cheaper options are just as good.
I bought 3 different fish grip pliers before my annual fishing trip in northern Quebec. The Rapala RFFG9, the Piscifun Camouflage Fish Grabber, and the less expensive 9" red floating grippers (RED-L). All three worked very well with all sizes of pikes and walleyes. The two plastic grippers have the most pinching strength, and the widest gripping surface, but they were harder to get into the mouths of some of the more stubborn fish. The Piscifun seemed the less likely to actually hold a fish because of it's spring loaded jaws compared to the vise-grip design of its plastic counterparts, but was actually the go-to gripper in my boat. The slimmer jaw design was easier to insert in the fish than both plastic grippers, and it held them well enough. All three of them will tear the membrane of the lower jaw if the fish is particularly feisty, but most of my catches left without that added injury. And it's no worse than the many scars they get from being caught in the first place. Once gripped, I never lost control of any fish, regardless of the model I was using. They are all well built and serve their purpose beautifully. My daughters preferred the red one, and is the one used in most pictures. Best value? Red grippers. Best overall experience? Piscifun.

No more teeth marks
Never will you have a pile eat your finger again. The device holds the fish firm so it can’t get away. It floats can’t be lost. Good buy and very iseful
