Overall I would recommend this to anyone who needs the extra support

I got this to protect my staples from my dogs jumping or my cat climbing on my lap. Ended up not being able to wear it for that because of the drain in my side. However, I did wear it a few times after they came out and it really is supportive. It was almost too much at times! The front panel is a solid piece of a soft material and shouldn't irritate your incisions. Even though I measured myself and ordered accordingly, it was a bit small. So if you find yourself within an inch or two of the max measurement of this size and are not expecting to lose inches around your core in the immediate future, I'd order the next size up. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who needs the extra support.

Just bought my 4th one

If you're stuck wearing one, this one works well. I have to wear one for 3 months, following abdominal fat grafting for a breast cancer surgery. These do stretch out and become less effective with use. And the velcro starts to pull up a bit. I rotate the 3 I have already to try to keep them in shape for longer. I had to buy lipo foam pads to put between the binder and a shirt I wear under the binder, due to chaffing and binder buckling and folding due to 24/7 use. I highly recommend adding lipo foam if you're stuck wearing one of these for months. This binder is the one from the hospital, yes, but is much more comfortable than some other random ones I bought from Amazon. Make sure you measure before buying. I measure at 30" so this size is the perfect fit for me. I just bought my 4th because 2 of my 3 are getting pretty rough.

Too large and no return policy

I wish I had noticed that I couldn’t return this item, it’s much too large and despite its “one size fits all” proportions, it’s way too big for me. I have a small torso and too petite for this to fit comfortably

Uncomfortable design

Size & pictures are misleading as the breadth is not clearly mentioned. You can end up buying something that doesn’t fit you well to meet your intended purpose. Be careful.

So far so good . . .

Very uncomplicated product: no straps, just a fabric girdle fastened with velcro. Easy to put on, without any bulges or creases. I wanted an abdominal binder to wear under under my sweater. I can put this one on and pull it around so the velcro end is on my side, not front. So it;s not visible under my clothes. So far, so good . . .

Great abdominal binder!

My neurosurgeon recommended this to wear when I’m upright to help with spontaneous CSF leak symptoms until I can have another epidural blood patch. I have found it to help “increase CSF pressure by compressing on the epidural veins,” as my doctor said it would, therefore allowing me to be upright for little periods of time. Praise the Lord! It sits just below my chest and extends down to my hips, which allows a longer area to be compressed. It can be easily adjusted in tightness by Velcro, which is great. I know it says to hand wash, but I machine washed it in cold water, and hung it to dry after Velcroing it together first so it wouldn’t stick to other things. It came out just fine. Washing it too much will decrease the effectiveness of the Velcro. This item has worked great! I’d recommend it.

Used for postpartum - highly recommend

I used this after having my first child immediately after giving birth. Game changer. I wore it all that time as it made me feel tucked in again until everything got back into the right spot. I used the 12 inch as I am tall and have a long torso and it was the perfect size.
