Tips to getting it done...
It's a nice little puzzle when done, but it came with no instructions. Let me give you a top, you start at the head and work your way to the back. When you start the chest below the head and put the long screw in leave the front chest piece off, it slides in at the end after you screw the screw into the last piece at the butt below the tail hole and you put the tail on. Don't tighten the screw too much at the end, I did and the threads broke so I super glued the end of the screw in the butt area. This puzzle is frustrating to get started and it's a level 1! Hope these tips help, wish I had someone telling me them, thanks...

ADDICTED
Okay, I first stumbled upon this at Walmart and ever since then, I've been obsessed. I ordered this one online and immediately started working on it. This specific one was a bit hard for a level one so I do not recommend for beginners unless you like a challenge and don't get frustrated easily. I've done many level 1s and also some level 3s, but this one was a bit hard when it came to both ends of it. I always have a tough time figuring out how to insert the sticks the best way so maybe it's just me.

Challenging
I love dachshunds, so I had to get this puzzle. It was super fun and challenging. It took me a good little bit to finish it. Would definitely buy a different puzzle from them again

Fun and cute
No issues with it staying together. It's actually very sturdy, and you only need to gently snap the chest and head in to lock it. Tip: don't cheat with glue and/or instructional videos. Do it in SECTIONS then put together once ready.

I basically love the puzzle
I basically love the puzzle. It's cute and easy to put together until the end when I could not get the pins in. I could not get the long center pin to lock and the pin on the snout broke at the tip. I contacted the company and they were very helpful and sent me both pins at no charge. The snout pin worked perfectly but I still could not get the long pin to lock. Unfortunately I tried turning the pin one to many times and the last piece broke in half. I rarely take these puzzles apart so I just used double stick tap to keep the pieces together .

I liked the idea of the puzzle
I liked the idea of the puzzle, seemed like a lot of fun for someone who enjoys problem solving. My issue is entirely with the way you have to construct the puzzle. I don't know if they are ALL put together in this fashion, but this particular puzzle requires you to constantly apply pressure to each piece as you try to fit the next piece. The pieces don't click or lock in when you make a connection, so if you stop applying pressure pieces will fall out and since they were further down the chain, the only solution is to take it apart and make the connection again. This was very frustrating for me when I reached the last three pieces of the puzzle, and for just a moment stopped applying pressure to the entire puzzle, then it fell apart on my desk. I couldn't imagine anyone with a hand disability being able to complete this puzzle, so that also limits who I am going to give this away to. I finally bought some super glue, and just glued each piece once I had it in the correct position. Defeats being able to take it apart and let someone else try putting it together, but I couldn't let the puzzle win. If the pieces actually held together when you found the correct one, this would be so greatly improved. I am not sure if I will purchase any of the other styles because of this flaw.

Fun puzzle!
Build was a little tricky but not too hard, turned out really cute! I did test my pieces (the threaded pin) before assembly as others had mentioned issues, and mine worked great! Turned out really cute. Love the details of the fur.

Challenging and frustrating
Took me quite awhile to assemble, and im 52, but it was cute when it was done. Did not stay together, ended up super gluing the back end together so it wouldn't keep falling apart.

This was completely different
This little gift was something completely different to give someone that has everything! We got the little wiener dog puzzle for friends of ours that just got a little wiener dog puppy and not only was it a cute gift we all had fun taking turns trying to figure it out and how it went together. It wasn’t a one day thing lol, but when it was completed it now sits on display. When their parents come to visit they can’t wait to have them try putting it together too, I think they will enjoy this also! My friend is a big fan of skulls and sugar skulls, I’ll definitely consider getting her the skull one for our next gift giving occasion. Great concept!

So much fun!
I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine and we did the puzzle together. We absolutely loved it but I will warn you that it is challenging and time consuming. Be prepared to get frustrated and maybe give up at times. I would highly recommend this and other 3D puzzles.

Incredibly small for the price. Bought it as a gift since I have a little dachsie, but it looks kind of cheap. Hopefully it'll be a project for 2 or more at the same time.
