Lightweight and comfortable

This is a nice, light weight and comfortable neck gaiter. I wanted one that wasn't made of cotton because they get so hot in the sun, so this one fits the bill. It's full synthetic - probably polyester and spandex blend. Nice stretch to it. Great for protection from the sun and wind.

Warmer than it looks

I ordered this neck guard to wear during outdoor walks in below zero temps. I live in a very cold and flat area where I spend quite a bit of time walking outdoors in winter. Typically a hat and scarf are enough to keep me warm, but I ordered this try out on especially windy days. While it’s not the absolute warmest option, it’s warmer than it looks. My favorite thing about this warmer is that it’s so lightweight and thin. This makes it perfect for keeping in a pocket, wrapped around your wrist like a bracelet, or even worn as a headband when not in use. It doesn’t weigh me down, feel bulky, or look silly. Additionally, the fabric is super breathable and doesn’t tend to feel super damp or claustrophobic. The thing that I liked least about this was the tag. The tag is large and stiff on the otherwise smooth and soft piece. It really ruined the presentation for me. I was able to remove all of the visible tag, but it is sewn into the seam and the rest is permanent. This means that there is one very small and very uncomfortable area on the seam that I dislike feeling. For those that are picky about these types of things, beware. Overall, at the current cost of around $15, I would recommend this to most people looking for a lightweight neck guard that looks nice and helps to take the edge off the wind and chill.

Great head band

I mostly use it to keep the copious amount of hair off my face. The color does bleed after it has been wet for a while. Careful to not leave it on light surfaces or light colored clothing.

Thin, stretchy and soft, with generous length

I picked up this neck guard for a little warmth and wind protection while skiing. It's essentially just a tube of thin fabric, but that's enough for my needs. The gaiter is quite tall, 14.5" when laid flat, so there's plenty of material to bunch around your neck, and it's stretchy enough to be pulled up over your lips if desired. Despite being listed as Medium in the product listing, the guard arrived labeled as "One Size". Before any stretching, the tube is about 18" around its top/bottom rims, so it should accommodate all but the thickest of necks without applying too much pressure. The gaiter has reflective logos printed on its interior, front, and back, which could help with nighttime visibility to others. Care instructions are provided on a somewhat stiff tag that's difficult to remove cleanly. I'd prefer a tag-less label or tear-away tag for better comfort. Overall, this is a nicely made neck guard, good enough for cool conditions but not the coldest/harshest of weather. The potentially itchy tag is an odd choice, however, considering there's already text/logos printed on the inside of the tube. Four stars.

Useful in Winter

These neck gaiters are a great addition to a winter wardrobe for anybody who has to deal with periodic windy, cold conditions. This one isn’t as thick/high quality as the merino ones I currently use for snowboarding, but it works just fine for being out and about on a wintery day. I like having it on hand for when the weather gets rough, and it’s light and easy to pull on when needed. Also, the moisture-wicking material helps keep things dry with more extended use. However, I’m not sure what the size listings actually means, because my “medium” came with a “one size” tag attached. It fits well enough, though, especially for what I’d consider average-sized heads. Although, it is a bit snug on my husband, but he’s got a larger head. Overall, this is a lightweight but useful neck gaiter that’s nice to have when you need to be outside in the cold.

Nice and warm

I like this item. It's thin, which works well here in frigid Minnesota if you're outside doing something active. I use it when I shovel snow and snowshoe. Warm enough if you're moving, thin enough to be comfortable and breathable.
