Smooth, Refreshing Shave

The Proraso Green provides a nice cool, smooth and refreshing shave. If you like menthol and eucalyptus then you will love this. It is a bit strong though, which I like, but if your skin is sensitive to things like menthol from an overly cold or burning standpoint, then you might want to use another Proraso product. Otherwise, it's perfect for sensitive skin. No rashes, itching or other irritation. I'm now using White, Green and Red Proraso, and soon the Blue / Protective cream. It's set to arrive any day now!

This is the only shaving foam i would use.

Very good for sensitive facial skin, lather up a very rich foam and leave it on your face for about 10 minutes for work its magic, it will soften up the facial hair for easy shave after and allows the razor to glide on the skin while shaving to reduce razor burns, been using this for about 10 years now and totally satisfied with it.

The perfect shave

If you want the slickest shave soap there is, buy this. I place a dab in my mug and work up a lather with a boar hair brush and my razor just glides across my face for a perfect smooth shave.

Good lather, good scent, but clogs the razor

I like the scent and I get a good shave. The lather is better than Cremo, which is the other lotion I use. Only issue is that it clogs up my razor really quickly. I use a safety razor so I can take it apart to clean, but this wouldn’t work well with a cartridge razor.

Great stuff!

I've been shaving for more than fifty years. Proraso shaving products are the best I have ever used. I like the pre-shave cream and the shaving cream in the tube (menthol with eucalyptus oil).

I am impressed

I have been shaving for over 50 years and have tried so many shaving creams. I just tried Proraso and I cannot believe how good this is, no nicks, no cuts, no irritation. I wish I discovered this years ago.

Authentic and works amazing

The box and the product itself was in Italian as depicted, so I want to say this is as authentic as it can get for a product that was made from Italy. I have dry skin and this shaving cream works better than cremo in preventing razor burns. Apply ingredients by hand works, but works best with a brush if you have one. I highly recommend this product if you don’t mind menthol because it works well on razors and the lather is so light that you barely need much.

great smell anad price

The eucalyptus smell is great and not too strong. It makes a very good and oily environment for the blade to pass on the skin. it's a bit too big to travel, in my opinion, but nice on the price per amount.

The best shave I've ever had

I'm not a shaving enthusiast like some of the other reviewers here. For the last forty years I've just used cans of shaving foam available in supermarkets, most recently Nivea shaving foam which is very good. However for Christmas I was given a tube of Proraso shaving cream as a gift. I assumed it would be no different from the canned foam but I was wrong. Shaving with the Proraso cream gives a noticeably better, smoother shave and leaves my skin feeling better all day. The razor glides over the skin more easily, and for several hours afterwards the skin feels cool and fresh, presumably due to the menthol, camphor, and eucalyptus oil in the cream. I don't use a shaving bowl like many people do, I just dip a shaving brush in hot water, squeeze out the surplus water, apply 1cm of Proraso cream from the tube onto the brush and work it around my face until I have a good lather. I don't know if this is the recommended method (all the instructions on the tube are in Italian) but it works for me. I've experimented several times with going back to canned foam but there's no doubt at all that using the same razor and the same water temperature with the Proraso cream gives a far superior shave. With 1cm of cream per shave the 150ml tube should last longer than a can of shaving foam.

Top quality shaving cream

Been using this for several years now and it's very nice to use. Makes a very rich lather really slick and the menthol gives you a nice cool kick in the face. Be sure to try out the preshave and aftershave in the proraso green range too
