Pretty hefty camper cord!
We purchased this extension cord for plugging our camper into the house, and it's quite durable and been just what we have needed. I can see us using this for many years to come.

Generators need this to run power safely e.g. no fires and,..
during the last heatwave we weren't surprised to have our power go out. no problem i thought it'd give me the first chance to run the generator. problem was the 'heavy duty' extension cord i had on had wasn't the proper size. luckily i checked the cord after a few minutes as it was so hot i was surprised it hadn't started to burn yet. so in a spot i had to head into town and hope i could find one that would work and handle the electrical load safely. the big box store i went to had this in stock but it cost $129 plus tax. with no power and it being so hot out i just bought it regardless. once i had power back up and wifi going i went online here and found this. i was surprised just how much less it cost than the first one had. i ended up replacing that first big box store cord with this and the savings made a big difference. as to the cord, due to the size it's heavy and needs be that way so these can carry higher electrical loads safely. the cord looks just fine no apparent quality defects anywhere. it works just as expected and didn't even get warm when running our one air conditioning unit. that unit for reference states its power consumption at 1300 W / 11.6 A. i'm very happy with this cord. i would not hesitate to purchase another especially considering what they cost. i would recommend this to anyone with a medium to large sized generator.

This is large cable...for sure 5-Star Quality, 4-Star ease of use
Well, I was tired of seeing or buying cheaper 14-16 gauge cables that at best were "maybe" 15-amp rated. So I search for a good value 12 and 10 gauge extension cables. I bought a new woodshop planner that could draw as much as 20 amps, so wanted something that could handle it and not overheat. Well, this 10 gauge extension cord is almost an inch in diameter! IT IS BIG comparably. That is a significant jump over the 14 and even the 12 gauge (that I also bought at the same time). Almost overkill in size (of the overall cord) - unless you really need that thick of a cord. It does make it a little hard to hang off a 120V outlet with all that cable weight (wants to twist one way or I have to balance the slack cord to not pull on the plug). So you pay some $ for these larger capacity cords, if I had to do it all over again, I only needed the 12 gauge cord - but you never know when you need something in emergency handy anyway. So I'm investing in my stock of cords. Works fine, the lighted plug tells me if it is unplugged from the wall outlet. The value per $/foot for this cable was good, and you get what you paid for. If my 12-gauge cable was 25' as this cord was, then I would be using that one over this one for my planner's need, so for now I'm using this 10-gauge cord because of the shorter length that I purchased.

Very Well Made
Rather than run single wires, I ran this extension cord 50' across the shop on a cable to serve as my 220v service from the breaker box to my 220v 3 wire compressor plug. The compressor and plug do not utilize a neutral wire, just two hots and a ground. So, this worked prefectly, run it cut it to length and wire it in to the box and outlet!

Heavy Duty, Thick Extension Cord Works Perfectly
This is a 10 gauge extension cord. I use it to run a small space heater from an outlet in another room to different rooms in the house during extremely cold weather. While it is not recommended to use an extension cord with a space heater, I found that the 10 gauge cord allows me to run the heater just fine and there is no heat from the cord or the outlet. 12, 14 and 16 gauge extension cords will heat up and literally melt the outlet or the plug at the outlet (which I found out by experience - luckily I was there when it happened so no damage other than replacing the outlet and throwing away the old cord). This cord has not heated up nor caused any damage to itself or the outlet and we have one heater hooked to it constantly in the winter for spot heating certain rooms. Be aware that the cord is extremely thick and heavy. I would suggest that you get the shortest length you can if you use this for a space heater or air conditioner (I am pretty sure this cord can handle any regular appliance/tool/etc. you can throw at it). In the summer, we plan on using it for some of our electric garden tools instead of our 12 gauge cords, or at least plug the longer 12 gauge ones into this one for added extension with no power loss to the tools. If you have a very demanding appliance or tool, this is a great extension cord. It is also pretty flexible considering the thickness. The only con I can see is that it has just 1 plug but you can always put a 3 plug adapter into it if you are running more than 1 tool, just don't overload your circuits. Finally, an extension cord that works well for what we use it for and at a good price.

Weighs a lot
This cord is not only heavy duty; it is really heavy. If you intend to move this cord around frequently, you might consider getting two 50 ft cords instead of a single 100 ft. Be advised that the female end of this cord is a "single" socket. That was the preferred option for me because my "triple" socket cords mostly lie in the dirt and get gunked up in the two unused ports. If you need multiple sockets, simply buy a 10ft cord with triple receptacles to add to the long cord. That short cord might come in handy for indoor applications such as space heaters or power tool workbench. I use my 10 gauge cords to operate my swimming pool pump and electric tillers/mowers/dethatchers a long distance from power source. I've left these cords outside for more than five years with no noticeable damage other than grime. This is the gauge of cord I use when distance is a factor. Portable generator/air compressor/Christmas lights/saws/hedge trimmer/battery charger/etc. Use the heavy gauge cord to get the power out to your work area, then attach a more pliable cord for your tool. Using light gauge wire over long distances is dangerous and can actually damage your tools by overheating the motors. This 10 gauge cord is a smart gift for stupid spouses. Oops.
