Cheap and works
Not fancy or particularly pretty, but simply just works. Just what I need for my mtb.

The most durable water bottle cage.
The most durable cage you can buy. Reasonably priced. Light weight. Keeps the bottle secure. Doesn’t allow the bottle to rattle over rough road surfaces or off road terrain. Been using them for years and will definitely continue to do so.

Wow, something not made in China
I've got a touring bike with three water bottle positions. The bottom one sits under the sloping front tube near the front tire. The largest bottle I can put there is 20 oz. The problem has been that the aluminum cage from blackburn (these Alum. cages on all bikes today) that came with the bike works ok if a bottle is mounted vertical but unless empty they keep bouncing out of the low position. The Profile Design Cage is the first cage I've found this year (I've got an old mountain bike with Trek cages which are no longer made that are great) that holds a full bottle like a vise. It's wonderful! A big plus I didn't know when I ordered is that it's made in Taiwan instead of mainland China where they still know how to built quality instead of cheap garbage that ends up in a landfill inside of six months. The only reason I didn't give the cage a five star is that when mounted on the vertical seat tube it is tough to get the bottle in and out of the cage easily because the mount holes are so close to the top tube, but since this is a holding position and the bottle gets rotated to top of the front tube position I don't mind. Another plus is it allowed me to squeeze a 24 oz bottle on that vertical tube where I could only mount a 22 oz before. In all a great value for a great product! Oh, and it was delivered quickly. Thanks Amazon, I've been buying from you for years and your service is great.

Excellent application of modern materials to a traditional object.
Water bottle cages have been around since....forever? I had a steel wire cage with a plastic bottle on a Crescent bike I owned in the 1970's and even then it was already an old design...last year I had purchased a used Pugsley, and the previous owner had already fitted one of these. I decided that a second "Kage" would be good for longer rides. I like the modern design and the lightweight but really sturdy construction. Whatever plastic/resin composite material this is, it feels indestructable, like a G-Shock watch, or perhaps one of those plastic milk crates. It grips water bottles well, bouncing along on rocky trails doesn't result in spontaneous ejection. Bottles larger than standard capacity work fine, as long as they are near the "standard" bike water bottle diameter of about 2 7/8 inches (73mm), with an indentation at 5 inches for the upper tab to engage. The bottles in the photo range from 16 oz to 26 oz. Some are 25 years old, others almost brand new. All fit securely with no issues. The black cylinder with the Profile Design logo isn't a water bottle, it's a tool storage container. It is made to work with these Kages, if you don't want to use a tool bag under your seat. It's not impossible to force larger diameter bottles into the Kage's embrace, but it's a very snug fit, which forces the two sides further apart, and could conceivably crack the material, especially in cold weather.

My all time favorite
I've been using these water bottle cages for many years and have found them to be the best. They hold on tight but allow you to pull the bottles out fairly easily. I've used them on road bikes and behind the saddle holders on my tri bike with great results. Have never lost a bottle when using these cages.

Great Bottle Cages
These have been my go to bottle cage for about 20 years. Very durable and quite secure. Reasonably light. I can't imagine paying $75 for a carbon fiber cage. Black is my preferred but I purchased some white ones for a new bike (and as they were cheaper). Overall, when I look for a cage I look for these first. TIP: if you break the rubber bands one from a bicycle tube should work.

Rock solid but tight narrow fixture holes!
Very good value for money, but be prepared for a bit of forcing fixture screws through the eyelets! Don't wast money on expensive cages, these look really nice and work as expected i.e. they hold a bottle and allow easy return while riding!

great value in a secure bottle cage.
I use these on my behind-the-seat bottle cage rack where bottle launching can be a problem with bottle cages that don't grip securely. These are very light weight, and are a fraction of the cost of behind-the-seat purpose built carbon cages. These do seem to loose a bit of grip after a few years, but replacing these periodically in rear-mount locations is still a bargain compared to the other options.

Rubbish!
Not fit for purpose. The screws supplied won’t go into the holes to attach it to the bike. Rubbish!

Breaks easily
I bought the RML under the saddle 2 bottle system. After a couple of rides, I lost the screw and clamp which mounts RML to the saddle and the whole RML falls down incl. full bottles. One of the cages broke down. This is the replacement. I am not too happy. This is not the lightest profile Design bottle cage, so I would expect it to be more sturdy. Obviously no warranty.
