Surprised at the quality of the books

Stumbled upon this interesting idea for using as a child's Journal or Art book. The paper is very good quality and the colors look great too for the covers. I started to give out as party favors at the end of party along with the art supplies and writing utensil for the children to go crazy and create. Had leftover so I've started a project for Grandkids to have simple prompts for them to draw a picture or using emerging writing skills to help. Excellent and yes, you can devote some more time to creating your own little books but for the price and quality, it's a must for my needs. My goal is to give out so the kids have some way to be as creative as they want and then parents or teachers can easily track both growth and have some cool stuff to save from their little people in their lives.

Great for kids who write and draw

My grandkids live to write and illustrate their own books. These are a good size with enough pages but not too many.

Wonderful for Young Writers

Our granddaughter loves to write and these blank books are perfect for her to write stories or use as journals. She loves them. We have bought them twice and will likely buy again when she fills them up.

Great - but product name is confusing. Covers are just cardstock.

With the product called "Hygloss Products Colorful Paperback Blank Books," I was envisioning glossy covers, like on a paperback book. Instead, they are simple cardstock. I was in a hurry and didn't read the description, so the fault is mine. However, I wanted to give a heads up to anyone else who is envisioning something slightly fancier than cardstock with paper stapled inside.

Size not as advertised

Luring said product size is 5.5 by 8.5 inches, as does the label. Actual measurement are close to 4.5 inches by 5.5 inches. So disappointed and a waste of $23.

Good value for the money

Great value for the price. We don’t give our kids candy so we used these as a party gift for my 5 year old’s birthday party guests. My daughter hand painted the guests initials and decorated them for her guests. It went over well. It’s useful, affordable and fun for her to paint!

Super cute

I ordered these for my grandsons since they enjoy drawing and using stickers (ages 4 and 7). The little books are nice because their drawings and coloring work are in one place without individual pieces flying around and getting lost. They love the colorful covers too!

Versatile and Great for the Price

My 5th graders enjoyed using the books for a writing project we did at the end of the year and they were perfect .
