I use this as a planter for my monsteras!

I needed a large, clear pot and this fit the bill. I drilled holes all around for aeration, and it works perfectly. I can see the roots without disturbing them.

Good size for sous vide smaller foods.

Wish they came with a cover but I found some plastic plates at the dollar store and carefully cut out space for the sous vide machine. Works, that's all that counts. Heavy foil will work also. I'll do a chicken breast or a chop, that fits just right.

Terrific for 5-Minute a Day Bread

After trying an online recipe, I bought the bookThe New Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day: The Discovery That Revolutionizes Home Baking , and became hooked on having freshly baked bread. At first, I made do with with bowls and containers I already had on hand, but having decided I was going to continue making bread, I bought this inexpensive food bucket for storing the dough. I also bought the matching lid,Rubbermaid Commercial Products FG572500YEL 6- 8-Quart Lid . Together, they work great but currently, have to be ordered separately - the lid doesn't come with the bucket and vice versa.. The bucket and the lid are both sturdy. The lid fights nicely on the bucket, and the whole thing fits on one of the taller shelves in my refrigerator. When I ordered them, the bucket arrived before the lid, and I used plastic wrap to cover the bucket. That will do in a pinch, but the lid works much better and is well worth the few dollars it costs. While I am sure this bucket has many uses other than for bread dough, in my house it is in constant use as a container for both mixing and storing dough.

There is NO Lid

The pictures show these with lids yellow in fact must not have read the small print. What good are storage containers without Lids. Packing them up and sending them pack. Bought three (3) different sizes.

Don’t be fooled

Hello, I hope you read the reviews before getting too excited and buying it because you recently discovered how to make bread. THERE IS NO LID INCLUDED. I thought the handles were part of a snap-on lid when I quickly added this to my cart. They’re actually just handles so I’m going to try using saran and hope for the best, as my precious dough slowly rises in the fridge. Hope it doesn’t spoil.

Lid is sold separately

This works fine as a proofing bucket if you improvise a lid. Unfortunately the lid is sold separately and when I try to purchase it, they refuse to ship it to my part of Canada. Essentially this was a poor purchase for me, it will not work the way I need it to. Read the fine print.

It's a plastic container

Comes with lid so not bad for price! I wouldn't repurchase though as seems cheaper then other ones I have bought and the sticker left a terrible sticky part on the side of the container
