Runs Too Small
This seems to be an adequately designed support for epicondylitus. However, it runs so small that it cuts off circulation. I will be exchanging mine for a larger size. My forearm, just under the elbow measured 11.5" straight and 12.5" bent. Therefore, I thought the large would be okay. To get the right size, measure your forearm both straight and bent, find the recommended size, then get the next size bigger. There is no danger of it being too big as the Velcro has a bit of cinching ability.

Sizing
Sizing isn't stated on the product description. I ordered what I thought would be the right size but I guessed wrong. I chose M as I"m 5'3" tall and somewhat muscular, it stated unisex sizing somewhere. I got and on the packaging it had measurement guidelines for the sizes. THey should have put that in the product description straight away! I am now sending it back and need a bigger size, they run small.

Supports a strained tendon
I strained a tendon and it worsened through repetitive use. Doctor's orders called for medication and ice---but mostly resting the muscle, which I found near-impossible. I'm not sure about why this band works, but it does make it possible for me to go about my day without every motion causing a shooting pain in my arm. Getting it properly positioned and tightened takes some trial and error: the rigid bars inside the padding need to hit in the right spot. My one star off is because I wish it were just slightly narrower so it allowed me to bend my elbow more easily.

No returns....
Buyer beware.... Runs smaller than they say and they won't take returns. So you either just need to eat the cost or have some muscle atrophy.

Elastic is the best, like this one.
Tennis elbow or golfers elbow, does not matter, this straps works best and it saved me from time off from the golf course and cortisone shots. This strap is elastic, has a pressure point where needed, is adjustable for all and does the job. Do not buy a strap that is not elastic. Your forearm muscle will expand when using it and the strap needs to expand with your muscle. Any strap that is not elastic will not let your muscle expand, which can be painful or uncomfortable. The way the strap works is that it applies pressure to your forearm muscles near the elbow. This pressure absorbs shock and relieves tension on the tendons in your elbow. The pain that you have will not be subsided by the strap, instead the strap deadens shock to the tendons, allowing the tendons to heal. The pain will continue until the tendons heal, which may take many months. My doctor recommended this strap. He said to wear it all day long and take it off at night. I wore it for almost 6 months before I could quit wearing it. It takes time for the tendons to heal. I felt some relief after one month. "All Day Pain Relief" tablets were a great help too. Sure beat not golfing for six months, like what the internet md guys said. I started out where carrying a gallon of milk at my side was too painful or even resting my elbows on my easy chair hurt. That is my experience and wanted to share it. I have been pain free for 3 years, was just looking this strap up for a friend and thought I would comment. Best of luck, and don't do any strap that is not elastic. This product is the best. Kevin.

Best elbow strap out there
Best elbow strap out there. I have a recurring tennis elbow and every time it flared this little contraption took care of it. What is different about this aid is that it has two parallel inserts that push against the elbow tendon. I don't know the scientific explication for why it works, but it does.

Issues with the quality, sizing, and quantity.
I purchased this strap many years ago (probably around 1990) and, over the years, it has served me well with occasional use. The original need was elbow soreness from painting (scraping wood and then painting) and then, later, from weight training (especially bent over rowing). Now I want/need such a strap for vigorous mountain/fat bike riding on trails where there is a fair bit of stress of my forearms/elbows. I decided to get a new pair of straps because some of the elastic wasn't so great after all these years and my forearms had shrunk a bit so, I thought, best to upgrade. Alas, I'm disappointed: the quality doesn't seem quite as good and the sizing seems a bit off. I don't recall actual measurements on the Amazon site but a visit to the Pro-Tec site tells me that a medium fits 9-11" while large fits 11-13". So, if a user has approximately 11" forearms (like me), then which size to buy? Hmmmm I also own and use (almost daily running for 30+ years) the Pro-Tec patella strap. I am very happy with the quality and usefulness of the Pro-Tec products I've tried based on my earlier purchases. Every so often I think to myself that the price of these straps hasn't changed much in all this time and now I know why with the purchase of the elbow strap: there is only one strap in the package when (as best as I can recall) there were two when I first bought the elbow and knee straps. It seems odd a user would only want/need one strap when, for a balanced physique, one runs with two legs and one rows, paddles, and cycles with two arms although, to be fair, some activities such as golf and tennis might only stress one arm. Overall I'm mostly unhappy with this purchase because of issues with the quality, sizing, and quantity.

Doesn't work
Poor design. Since I need to put it on on my own, without any help, it's impossible to tighten sufficiently around my elbow without it spinning around to the wrong position. VERY DISAPPOINTED that amazon won't let me return this, as it is not fit for purpose. VULKAN make a better product, try that instead.
