Happy to find a 'boy' doll appropriate for little girls.

I bought this doll so my granddaughter had a 'daddy' doll when she plays with her other dolls. (My daughter said she often uses a baby doll or stuffed animal to play the part!) My granddaughter was also getting an "18" girl doll for Christmas. It seems like it is sturdy but wished the eyes blinked. It also is "16" instead of the "18" girl dolls made.

It is a girl doll, and they turned it into a boy. I trimmed the hair to give it more of a boy cut. He looks like he is wearing pink lipstick. His chest area is a bit... chubby. Lol. HE DOES COME WITH SHOES. Black plastic shoes. I might sew pockets on the jeans...and the sew the fly shut... Eyes are beautiful. Hair is thin... Overall I would say that it is an ok doll and it is a cheap alternative. My son is four so he didn't notice anything. Only thing is that his arms are very stiff and no idea if I'll be able to find clothes for him... maybe button up shirts only??

Cute but hard to dress...

It is extremely difficult to find an 18 inch boy doll. This one is pretty cute but is a bit petite. Any boy clothes I did manage to find we're too big. My daughter still likes him though.

Cheap doll, but boy dolls hard-to-find.

Cheapest thing you can imagine. First, I cut his hair for a more "real" look. Second, his joints move weird - in order to sit, his legs must be spread very wide. I had thought he would be a good accompaniment for American Girl dolls of his sister, but there is no comparison. This is like something you would pick up at a craft store. He is 16" so a tad smaller than AG dolls. But if you just want a cheap accompaniment for a younger brother to play with his sister, I guess it is OK. (Except that my mother picked up one of similar quality at Aldie's for $9!). But since boy dolls are not as available, it's OK for that.

I ordered this, with a sports outfit included. I got the doll. That was it 1

Well I didn't like the idea that I ordered the doll, which was supposed to have my choice of sports outfits for free. I chose baseball./I only got the doll. Yeah I'm ticked..this is not AS ADVERTISED !! I don't want to return it. His birthday is Saturday. But I WANT that baseball outfit sent to me before then !!!Q

Finally! A great boy doll!

When my granddaughter said that she needed a "daddy doll," I thought it would be an easy task to find her one. Much to my dismay, most of the "boy" dolls were "baby" boy dolls. When I finally located this doll, I was pleased; but when it arrived, I was VERY pleased! It was just what I wanted--and my little granddaughter was also very pleased!

You get what you pay for

My daughter likes American Girl dolls, but they don't make any boy dolls. We got this for her so that she can have a boy in her doll stories. Wow the quality is way inferior to American Girl dolls. I guess its 1/4 the price of an American Girl doll, so you get what you pay for.

hair is awful

Got this for 7 year old grandson who wanted boy doll so he could play with sisters and their girl dolls. (I make no comments). Doll itself is ok, eyes don't close, hard body, not the quality of American Girl. Hair is awful. Lines of plugs are far apart and visible. Kids don't seem to mind.

Boy doll

I looked all over for a nice boy doll for my 3 year old grandson. Found beautiful 18" dolls for my granddaughter, but the boy dolls were more expensive and of poor quality in comparison to the girl ones.
