Look nice, but very squeaky!

These look great and they’re comfortable. I wanted the big and tall size to accommodate anyone and love the wider seats. Docked a star because they were a pain to assemble and they’re really squeaky, even for small people well under the max weight. However, counter height stools are harder to find and I’m happy with this price point, so I’d recommend. Hopefully we can figure out how to stop the squeaking.

Comfy, but squeaky

These counter height stools are amazing! Perfect for most people of any size. I was worried about some larger family members joining for dinners and holidays, but these are rated for heavier people. They’re quite comfortable and look very nice! Only complaint is that they’re a bit squeaky any time you slightly move, even when well under the weight limit. The price point is also excellent for the quality, weight limit, and just cost in general of a stool these days.

Great Counter Height Chairs

In researching chairs that could take a higher weight capacity, I read through all the previous reviews here on the site. I saw that some folks had issues assembling these chairs. I want to tell anyone thinking of purchasing these chairs that they really are easy to put together and I'm going to give you some tips. When starting out, follow the diagram that shows how to set the pattern for the leg placement. After you have the first 2 legs in place, loosely tighten the bolt down, DO NOT tighten the bolt(s) this is where you will run into trouble. Add the next 2 legs and loosely screw on the other bolts. DO NOT tighten them yet. Next, you'll add the chair base ring. the ring has a total of 8 holes, 4 sets of 2 holes side by side. Attach one hole per set of two at a time to the legs, once you have them attached, tighten them to the legs FIRST, then go back and tighten down the legs to the base, (will make more sense as you follow the assembly) Once you have all the bolts tighten down, (my advice is to use a socket wrench for assembly not the cheap wrench in the kit included. You'll want to really make sure all the bolts are tight when finished.) then it becomes very easy, attaching the chair back and then the chair pad. The pad is attached separately and as you can see from my photos I went ahead and fabric covered my chair pads before assembly. After assembling 4 chairs I feel like an expert now and don't mind helping others with questions. michaeldntx@gmail.com You will be very pleased with these chairs!

Nice Chairs - Swivel is Stiff

These stools are super sturdy and very nice looking. My only complaint is that because I have a smaller frame than my 6’ husband who weighs a lot more than I do, they’re hard to swivel. My old chair (which fell apart) would smoothly spin me around which was great when I was cooking. This stool is stiffer. I’m hoping they loosen up a bit as they get used. We put some WD 40 under the seat and that helped some. Other than that, I would highly recommend these chairs. My husband loved his (we bought two) and he thought they were pretty easy to assemble.

These chairs look great with my diningroom counter height table.

I, a 74 years old grandmother, was able to put these chairs together by myself with ease. The illustrated directions were easy to follow. Each of the 4 chairs was packed very well in it's own box and arrived on time as promised. The chairs are beautiful and sturdy. The tools and hardware packed with the chairs were easy to use. I'm happy with my purchase and will be showing them off with a small covid safe dinner party.

Missing hardware but comfortable chair

I order 4 chairs counter high at same time, each one was delivered on different days. Last chair has missing rubber on bottom 4 legs. Seat is large well equipped to support anyone who is heavier. Nice hight for grandkids to eat at island. Would give 4 stars cause of delivery but missing feet also ???? like my foods protected

Challenging assembly

It is just as advertised, a big beefy ,sturdy ,extra high chair. Seat on mine measures 30" from floor. Not so easy to assemble. Study the directions first. I needed a needle nose vise grip to align holes and hold in place. Did not like how the seat has to be attached. You need to position the seat and drill the screws in. No reference point so you have to be extra careful to get seat centered. Make sure you lock-tite the bolts. I found it worked better to leave all the bolts loose until they were all in. Two people make the job much easier. I found it easiest to work from a bench. It would have been much harder to have had to work off the floor. Have been using hard about two months. No complaints. It is built to last. A great buy for the price.

Great Stool

Sturdy and Comfortable! I had similar stools for a long time, one started losing ball bearings so I needed to replace it. I bought these because my son is tall and solid and my butt isn’t so little any more either. He put the stools together with no problem and we enjoy the larger surface area on the seat and the wide back. We sit at the kitchen bar for most of out meals so they get used daily.
