It is not heavy
I love P/C tools for years. This one absolutely no complaints just congratulations. Too many complained that it is too heavy. Don't think so, I'm older and not a big person. I sure wouldn't want some light weight hunk of junk. Well built, sturdy, The depth adjustment is great. Initially thought I would have to buy a different battery pack to use instead of my 5 yr old 20 volt P/C battery packs. Called customer care. Gentleman said old packs will work and they did. Money saver. Have used in remodeling sunporch. A lot of, new windows, plenty of trim work inside and outside. Not 1 jam not 1 bent brad, perfect. When the battery gets weak, it will act like it drove a brad, but will not. Replace pack and keeping on going.

big improvement over air
So much nicer to use a nailer without the damned air compressor blasting away, or the hose just 1" short. Its not as fast as the air nailer, but thats a minor issue. All the features are perfect and this fist right in with all the other PC tools I have. This one should be around for many years too.

Easier than dragging an air compressor around
I have 10 rentals and I'm always working on them I have been wanting a cordless Brad nailer for several years but didn't want to spend the money on one but I dropped the hammer and decided to purchase it because I already had most of the other Porter cable rechargeable tools and I couldn't be happier it works good if you use good nails the cheaper brands tend to jam up but once I got the good ones it nailed a whole house full of trim with no jams and it only used one battery to get the job done yes it's a little heavy but use a smaller battery and it helps with the weight it beats dragging around an air compressor and hose

Great Investment!
I bought this to do the trim work in my house. I have an Hitachi Air nail gun that works great but did not want to run 220' of air hose to get in and around the house from my compressor. This tool was a bit larger than I was expecting but still get in the small spaces. Ran about 75' of trim in just a few minutes. Nail depth is easy to set and visual helps know what adjustment is being made. No Jams, no lag, and no waiting on the air to refill! Great investment and it will get plenty of work even after the trim is done.

Great tool!
This is the best thing since sliced bread for working in a confined area. Very little noise and no air lines to tote around

Powerful Nailer
We bought this to install shiplap onto a framed out fireplace bumpout and it worked great. The battery holds the charge well and the safety features are great. It's lightweight but substantial. We had a couple nails come through at weird angles, but I think that was more about the angle we held the tool than the tool itself. Would highly recommend for any serious home craftsman.

great tooll!
Did not anticipate how handy this tool is... No need to set up compressor, run hoses, etc. Ready to use immediately. Highly recommend.

Great tool. Great value.
Hesitated to get a Brad nailer for a long time because of the compressor, air lines, and extra noise of such a whole unit. Only did trim as a part of finishing other jobs. But, price attracted me and I already had some extra batteries from a same brand drill that I already owned. So, took the chance and have only been impressed with the way this gun performs. Very smooth actually, and not having a compressor running with hoses all over the place is "like working in heaven". Takes about a day to get used to the operation and timing of the gun, when discharging. I have placed it in its own carrying case to protect a finely tuned instrument. Very happy that I can do a better job and save a lot of time as well. Love doing trim at the end of project because of this gun. 18 gauge nails are just right and leave a little pinhole, not even needing any filler, unlike regular nails .Very happy.

I like this brad nailer
Hi Porter Cable! Can I get a battery please.... I bought it at regular price....Right after I opened the box, the w/ battery version went on sale for 206.99!! I feel really really bad, because that porter cable circular saw I bought on the same order is going through battery like nuts..! About the brad nailer itself, I like it very much. As usual, exterior made of quality material, rubber back housing is easy to grab from standing position. I shot over 300 nails so far on my first day, without a hitch. Very quiet, powerful enough, not too heavy at all. Multiple safety features! LED light! From Porter Cable, I own 2 drill set, reciprocating tigersaw, circular saw, and this brad nailer, two batteries and charger came with the drill set. So far, I like Porter Cable very much. I also own various de-walt tools and other brands, but I keep coming back to porter cable for two reasons: #1 - my favourite store Lowe's carry this brand! #2 - Porter Cable offers best value to me as a multiple house owner. Occasional renovation from time to time, porter cable and de-walt both lasted 5 years for me, why would I spend more on a de-walt? Seriously Porter Cable, if I can get a battery, I'll take it...

Awesome
Love my new tool. I baught bare tool as I already have Porter Cable drill machine which came with two batteries plus one additional battery. I have Bostich air tool but having a cordless/battery operated tool is a breeze. It is so convinient as you do not have to attach the hoses. I have only used it a couple of time since I recieved it but it is great.

Works well, but is kinda heavy
It works well for what and when I use it for. But it is kinda heavy, so if you were using it on a regular basis, your arm could get tired quickly.

Completes an Electric Porter-Cable Kit Beautifully
Works well with the batteries from my Porter-Cable kit of other electric tools. Welcomed craftsmanship construction. Would have give 5 strs if it could provide just a bit more power I can barely sink 2" nails into MDF. Also, I wish the tool's forehead above the hammer would be slimmer so that you could use the tools at a straighter angle in tight spots.
