Pressure gauge doesn't work.

I bought this cause it's more portable than my other bike pumpcand also has a pressure gauge. Unfortunately the pressure gauge doesn't work, otherwise, its a decent pump that fits in my saddle bags.

Schwinn Floor Pump - Get This Instead of a More Expensive Name Brand

I am very pleased with this purchase. I bought this pump to replace a cheaper, Walmart pump ( 8 yrs old, also Schwinn brand and made by Pacific Cycle) that died after my son wrestled with it while attempting to put air in his bike tires (the plastic pump head snapped off). What I use it for: 1. Topping off air in car/SUV tires 2. Mountain bike tires (both Schraeder and Presta valve) 3. Basketball, football and all sorts of balls I'm not, by any means, a professional mountain biker. However, I do go out on trails occasionally and am not a beginner or someone that just goes bike riding to the local neighborhood park. I believe this is important to mention for those who intend to use this pump for something other than a supermarket bike. I believe this would well on a supermarket bike. If you have something nicer and are worried about the quality of this pump, fret not. It works just fine. I'm not an expert on bike gear but as far as I can tell, this works just as good as any Topeak or Nashbar pumps that I've used. Why I like this air pump: 1. It's light, affordable and looks good. 2. The gauge is easy to read. 3. The footsteps provide a lot of stability while the pump is in use. 4. The handle is easy to grip and comfortable. 5. It pumps a lot of air with minimal effort. 6. It comes with both a Schraeder and Presta valve pump head without the need for an extra adapter. 7. It comes with a ball pin so you don't have to go on a treasure hunt for the pin that you can never remember where you put the last time you used it. 8. You don't have to struggle with the locking mechanism on the pump head like you would with a cheaper supermarket air pump. Primarily, I use this pump for pumping a basketball and for a Presta valve mountain bike. As far as I can tell, this is the best and most convenient air pump I've ever owned. I'm not very picky when it comes to air pumps. I believe there are more important things to worry about (like the taste of my coffee) than the brand of an air pump. I'd rather spend money on better bike components than on an expensive, name-brand air pump. This product is solid, top-notch, and highly-recommended.

Pretty Good Pump

I first bought a cheap plastic foot pump but wow was that thing a peice of crap. This is not that, this is metal construction and much more durable. I bought because needed a compact lightweight pump compared to the Schwinn standard upright hand pump I also own. It's fairly compact and but not any lighter than the upright hand pump. This also takes longer to pump the same tire than the upright hand pump. I've seen double barrel versions of these foot pumps I bet are faster, but they'll be heavier. Anyways this is a good enough compromise.

A Rare Gem in a World “ Filled “ with Poor Quality Air Pumps.

I simply can’t believe how hard it is to find a quality bicycle air pump that actually works. All the reviews on floor air pumps that are available in Ontario Canada basically stated “ DO NOT BUY “ or “JUNK “ or my favourite “ PUT YOUR MOUTH OVER THE VALVE STEM - IT WILL DO A BETTER JOB”. The reviews were 85% consistent and absolutely horrible on every floor air pump I reviewed. I decided that more research was definitely required prior to the purchase of this item, and my search began. I always use amazon.com. for product reviews to see what are the Best Products available. I only read the “ Verified Purchase Reviews on Amazon “. Verified Purchases are confirmed buys from Amazon customers who either hate or like the item so much, they took the time to comment and to inform us all about that item. After reading all 41 reviews about the Schwinn 5 in 1 mode floor air pump { As Usual - Not Available in Ontario Canada } I decided I would order one from amazon.com. It arrived at my door 4 days later. It’s about 25 inches in height and the handle and base are well made of plastic and both are a very good in size and shape. The base is actually shaped like the Batman Symbol. The barrel is metal and the x large gauge is very easy to read and appears to be in the realm of accuracy with a plus or minus 2 or 3 points according to my tire pressure gauge. It’s mechanically well designed to pump air into a tire. The Schrader valve is well designed and works well. It was a little stiff so I oiled it and it now closes and opens easier. By design, it will never fall apart like most Schrader Valves eventually do. The 2 additional attachments, the needle for basketballs etc and the tapered yellow plastic stick for air mattresses are housed into slots on each side of the Schrader head. The air hose unscrews at the Schrader head and swivels where it connects to the barrel allowing a little more flex and easier connection with the valve stem. Like the other 38 verified purchased reviewers before me, I totally recommend this product to all. With 39 positive reviews out of a possibility of 42, this Schwinn 5 in 1 Floor Air Pump is obviously a Rare Gem in a World “ Filled ” with Poor Quality Air Pumps.

Works fine

I use this foot pump to put 65 pounds of air in my mountain bike. Very easy to use and can fill up the tire in about a minute. Never have to struggle when pressing down with your foot. The only small issue that if you put the pump on a smooth surface, it tends to slide a bit when pressing down with your foot. Also, if you don't put your foot in the exact center of the pedal when pressing with your foot, then the pump may tilt over to the side. Overall, for what I need it to do, it does just fine.

Excelente calidad y fácil uso.

Al fin una bomba que funciona con todo sin costar mucho. Las llantas de bicicleta que son las más difíciles se inflan sin problema a 60 PSI o mas. Las del auto por supuesto son de menor presión pero llevan mucho mas aire y con ésta bomba se inflan bastante mas rápido que con todas las que he usado anteriormente. Los adaptadores los tiene en la misma cabeza así que jamás se perderán. Presta y Schrader sin necesidad de cambiar ni mover nada, es perfecto si tienes diferentes bicicletas. Tiene la calidad y características de otras bombas que cuestan mas del doble, definitivamente la mejor opción.

Muy cara para lo que es

La boquilla no aprieta lo suficiente como para poder inflar algo a 140 psi que se supone que es su máxima. Usando una bomba Benotto (que cuesta la mitad) inflo más rápido, el sello aprieta mejor en la boquilla y puedo inflar mis ruedas a 120 sin ningún problema, en esta a partir de los 80psi empieza a salirse el aire por todos lados y hay que bombear rápidamente para alcanzar a inflarla hasta unos 110. Por cierto, llegar a esas presiones supone un esfuerzo considerable y pone bastante resistencia. En definitiva no tiene ninguna competitividad contra bombas que cuestan la mitad. Edit: cuando la compré costaba 800 pesos, ahorita cuesta la mitad y ni aún así la volvería a comprar

Arrived broken, returned. Got an other, also arrived broken. Cancelled order.

The first one I received arrived with a cracked/broken dial. I sent it back and received a second one which arrived with pedal mechanism crooked, as if it had been smooshed under something for a long time. The pedal could not be used because it was so misaligned that it would get stuck and not pump any air. I have cancelled the order after this.

Funciona bastante bien

Ya la tenia en la mira desde hace bastante tiempo y no decepcionó, la utilice para inflar pelotas, balones (con los accesorios que trae) y llantas de bicicleta funcionando perfectamente, con otras bombas cuesta algo de trabajo a la hora de inflar, pero con esta es bastante suave y no requiere mucho esfuerzo, los materiales parecen bastante resistentes y el manómetro me es de mucha utilidad para inflar a la presión adecuada.

Complete garbage after 5x use of pumping

Worked great the first 2 times until the pump started to touch and grind the middle metal bar. The rubber feet also come off every time you pump with your foot. Now it's completely unusable and does not pump anything. Bought it just at the beginning of the pandemic!
