Not Bad Considering I Ordered by Mistake

Needed to recharge my bicycle tube supply as I go through them far too often, I found these tubes and promptly ordered. I did not realize they were the self sealing variety. While this was not my intent I decided to stick with them anyway. Since my original order I have used these tubes twice. I cannot speak to longevity as time will tell but enough time has no elapsed. All this said here is the only issue. When adding pressure, which is inevitable a small bit of the sealant is ejected when I connect the pump to the valve stem. This is hardly a big issue but it is an issue for me none the less. This is a good product which I will definitely buy again. I would recommend.

Be careful about your inches

Interesting tube

I bought a some of these for bicycle rebuilds and ran into an interesting problem with them. I had a difficult tire mount where the tire would not climb up and seat properly with the rim. So, here I am pumping up the tube and letting out the air several times. After a few pressure up and downs, the tube would not deflate no matter what I did. I unscrewed the core, needing a needlenose pliers to pull it out. In the picture, you can see what had happened. The Slime had indeed plugged an "air leak". I put in a new core and a little research provided a way to seat the tire. It only needed pumping up one more time, so all is good now. This just proves that the tire will indeed plug a leak if and when needed. It gave me confidence that it will get me down the road or trail and back to safety.

Perfect!

I will admit I was a bit nervous ordering this as I had never replaced a bicycle tire before. I have to say it was super easy. I ordered this to replace the tube on my son's 16 inch bike. We took the tire off, removed the tire and old inner tube from the rim, inflated the new inner tube enough to hold the shape and put it inside the tire then reinstalled it on the rim. Took all of about 15 minutes if that. Would 100% order again!

self sealing green guck plugs up the valve

So here is what happened.... I put a tiny bit of air in the tube to give it some shape and proceed to put on the tire and tube onto the rim.... I complete the job and begin pumping air and suddenly I cannot pump past about 20 psi.... weird.... I then try and remove air and I can't take air out either..... so I can't pump it up and I can't remove air..... valve is covered in green sludge.... only way for me to get the tube out now is to rip off the valve and STILL air doesn't come out easily.... it was blocked by a piece of green covered FELT..... 1 hour later I am so angry because it's REALLY hard to get this damn tire off the rim and I destroyed my fingers in the process.... so back to square one.... I have no idea if my tire or my tube was causing the wheel to vibrate.

Schwinn have good bikes, but the tubes they sell have a problem, seeing other reviews I kept an open mind until I purchased one last week, after inflating the tube showed a small hole on the seem, where white fluid leaked out, But got a replacement

Didn't seem to work for me....

When I got the product, it fit perfectly on my 700c × 38 wheel. Filling the tube up, it seemed fine at first. However, when I got on my bike, the tube flattened out at the bottom. I thought perhaps I didn't fill it up enough. It seemed to have enough air, but for extra measure I put a little more air in. Then, poof, it burst at the nozzle and all the air oozed out. Overall, my experience with this tube was not up to par. Perhaps, I could have filled it up with too much air, but even then, in my experience, most bike tubes wouldn't burst this easily. If this would have worked, I'd happily pay the 17 dollars. But, alas, it seems that I wasted 17 dollars on something that did not work for me. For future reference, please try to find any another product before you even consider to look at this one.

I am happy with this product - I will see how it holds up in time, but so far I think it is the best quality I could get for my Swinn hybrid bike! Got t quickly, at doorsteps - way to go, awesome service
