Good Alternative To Kenda
The 4" Kenda's off my Radrover 5 finally wore down. I figured these would be a good alternative. They are a bit narrower than the Kenda tires, but that's ok. I figure the only downside will be riding through sand. I have the Tannus inners, so we'll have to see how they do here in the Sonoran desert. I will update within the year for durability.

Great
These are great tires for the price I wasn't expecting them to be that good of quality. Lots of tread and look good on the bike.

Better Than Expected - UPDATE
UPDATE: Have over 300 miles on this tire now. No problems at all. Seems to wear very well. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Purchased this 20X4 Mongoose Fat Tire to replace the Kenda Krusade that was stock on my Rad Mini 2019 (non step through). Krusade was starting to wear out pretty bad at about 1200-1300 miles, but Rad has not had any Krusades in stock for a long time with no answer from Rad when they would be available, other than the "soon" rhetoric. Not their fault because the China supply chain is terrible and very unreliable, and maybe even intentional. Anyway - when the Mongoose arrived I was displeased that it is not a Mongoose, as many reviewers had noted, and it is much thinner than the Krusade. But, I needed something and went for this Mongoose (Nongoose). Tread seemed to be fine for my use, so I went ahead and ordered it. I mounted the Mongoose on the rear with the Rad Mini at 1700 miles, with little trouble other than you have to be sure to bead the tire on both sides so tire is symmetrical and bead is on wheel properly. OK - went for test ride. Felt fine and after about a 10 mile test I was impressed with the ride, a lot. It is quieter than the Krusade, and grip and road-feel is excellent. All and all I am very pleased with it now. I only have about 25 miles on it so far, but it feels good. Don't know about how well it will wear or how long it will last, but it is definitely a decent replacement for the Krusade on a Rad Mini. One of the things I like about the Krusade from Rad is that it has a reflective strip on both sides of the tire for high visibility at night. The Nongoose does not. The Mongoose is a good tire for the price.

Choa Yang Mongols tire, not Mongoose Mongoose tire
Been biking over 50 yrs now, my first 4" wide bike tires, but it took almost a half hour per tire to mount. The bead was so warped I had to inflate/deflate/massage/repeat over 10x/tire. My short test ride went well enough, after 1200 miles i took another pic of the tred. These say Chao Yang on them but they are designed for Mongoose bikes. I don't think Mongoose makes tires, they make bikes & spec the tires that go on their bikes. I wore my Juggernauts bald in ~1000 miles; I ride hard & am not afraid to leave my blood on the trail. These Chao Yangs ran 1200 similar miles & still have some tred left so IMO Chao Yang is more durable than Juggernauts. These Chao Yangs w/1200 miles on them are starting to get unstable in turns on loose dirt so I'm replacing them...with another set of Chao Yangs. The last ones I got, I was concerned they were Chao Yang, not Mongoose, but 1200 rough rock hopping & power sliding miles later I'm reordering Chao Yangs. 4 stars bc I don't like Chao Yang claiming they are Mongoose. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars. Great tire overall.

Very close to the factory tires I had on my Rad Mini.
I like that they didn't have any reflective stuff on them and were solid black. The tread and design is most similar to the nice tires that were on my bike when it was new. Nice aggressive tread pattern for good grip on trails and off-road.

Mongoose tire is made by Chau Yang
I ordered this to replace the rear tire on my Zlectric XP. The bike had 2912 miles on the tires it came with. They were Chauyangs same as the Mongoose tire. The knobbies on the tires were identical on both tires. I’m hoping that I get 2912 miles out of the new Mongoose tire too. I watched several YT videos on the removal and installation. It took around a hour and a half. I had the bike upside down resting on the handlebars and seat. Doing the work this way made me think it through as I worked on it. The actual job was easy and rewarding. The ride of the e-bike has improved and is smoother with the new Mongoose tire.

Mongoose 20"x4" bicycle tire a possible replacement tire for Schwinn/Stingray chopper (20"x4-1/4")
After many hours of searching every possible web site & all local bike shops, we couldn't find a replacement tire for the Schwinn Stingray chopper we are refurbishing. Most websites with tires that would fit charged as much for shipping as for the tire itself. When we saw Amazon's Mongoose 20"x4" bicycle tire, we thought it could be a possible replacement tire for a Schwinn/Stingray chopper bicycle , which has a rear tire size of 20"x4-1/4". The Mongoose 4" tire fit and seated perfectly on the 4 1/4" rim, but it had too a high profile to put onto the bike without major remodeling (remove the fender, cut or grind off the fender mounting bracket, change rear brakes to accommodate the Mongoose height, change the way the chain rides so it wouldn't constantly rub on the tire's side, etc.) We finally found an exact, factory-recommended Ivonna 20"x4-1/4" tire, with Stingray on the tire side in raised letters, at a reasonable price on another site. But the Mongoose tire was easy to install onto the rim, easy to remove, and Amazon made it easy to return for a refund. Thank you, Amazon!

NOT A SOLID TYRE as shown in the image.
NOT A SOLID TYRE as shown in the image. Requires an inner tube, is supposedly being investigated, but is still for sale, so be warned, its not what it says just now. When I ordered 3 tyre's in 'one order' they were shipped as 'three separate orders' and I was 'charged shipping separately' for all three @£160+ for 3 tyre (I think NOT), this was taking the . . . . I contacted customer services, who issued a full refund as they were mis-sold items. Lesson lean't, can't trust content - check it out first, even if the reviews are good.

Not as pictured
It came an is an alright tire - but as other reviewers have noted, the tread pattern does not match the picture at all. The actual tire is less aggressive and more like a Chao Yang tire. Note the pictures in other reviews. DO NOT PURCHASE BASED ON PICTURE!

ok for now but expensive
my previous tires side walls were tearing for riding them about 2000 km. I can't see the brand mongoose printed on the tire so I doubt if they are original. They are made in China and pretty much look of the same quality as my older tire that I am replacing. when I first received the tire I noticed some parts of the side walls were wrinkled, I got scared because I thought I got defective product however when they were inflated with air, the wrinkles disappeared. black soot or powder was all over the threads, not sure how they go there on a brand new tire. Side walls are still a concern because they appear soft and weak just like my older tire. if they last long I will give them another star as an update to this review. I took another star off for the expensive price. I believe under inflated tires could make them break easily as my previous tire was slightly deflated due to puncture which I discovered when I got home after a ride, along with the small puncture and slightly deflated tire the side walls were found torn in many locations. thread patterns look exactly what you see in the picture in description so I am not sure what people are talking about when they say it's not the same. my older tire also had similar pattern and possibly they were from the same Chinese manufacturer.
