Not as bright
Maybe I was having a high expectation but this flash light isn’t as bright as I thought. Though material is good and durable.

BUY THIS FLASHLIGHT
This thing is incredible. I always take a flashlight with me when I take the dogs out at night because we have coyotes in our area. When I stepped out of the house and turned this thing on it easily lit up the tree line about 75 yards away. There were 3 deer down in the corner and I was amazed at how well they were lit up. One of the deer was also amazed because he never moved the whole time we were out there. I don't know how long it took him to recover after a few seconds of staring at this light but I felt bad for him. The only negative I see is that it doesn't come with an instruction sheet but a few minutes of playing around with it and you can figure it out. It has 3 brightness settings and two strobe settings, you click the power button to toggle through the settings, which is pretty intuitive. If you leave it on one setting for a minute or two the power button will shut it off rather than toggle to the next setting. If you do this, the next time you turn it on it starts at the setting it was on when you shut it off. This is very useful if you keep it on your nightstand. The high intensity fast strobe is extremely disorienting for an intruder and having this light at the ready is a great first step in home defense, allowing you to identify who or what you are dealing with while they are blinded and disoriented. I can not attest to the battery life, I charged it upon arrival and have used it for about 10 minutes a day for over a week without recharging with no loss of performance. I don't know how long it will last before recharge is required. BUY THIS FLASHLIGHT!

Very Bright beam with good battery life
My favorite feature of this flashlight is being able to turn it off without cycling through all the modes. Unless it's only on for maybe less than 10 seconds, then you will run thru the modes that all LED lights seem to have. Though this one includes an SOS as well. The beam is not adjustable, but is dialed in for use as a flashlight. You can't focus it so tight that the shape of the chip shows up on the wall. This is a solid night time dog walking choice. It's my new go to thanks to long battery life. It's oddly lightweight. Five stars all around.

Ok light. Does what it needs to, but has some flaws
This light is decent. Not great, but decent. Light output is middle of the road. Not dim, but not super bright. It does have a zoom function, but the zoom suffers from both bad focus and lots of outer ring bleed, so you get a lumpy, mushy beam of light with a broken halo around the edges. One nice feature of this light is the side strip that lets you set the light on its end and light up the side strip to brighten up an area, hands-free. That's really the killer feature of this particular light and what makes it go from a poor light to a good light. Being able to illuminate an area without having the hold it can be valuable, especially coupled with the magnetic feature if you're sticking it to some metal. Solid 4 stars.

Sturdy and very bright!
This light has a very study feel to it and using it around the house it seems very bright. I got this for use around the house. Although it says lightweight, I wouldn't put this in my backpack for a hike. I'd stick to a smaller one for weight. It's easy to operate and the single switch toggles through the different brightness modes. The only minor issue is that unless it's been on for about 10 seconds, you can't turn it off without cycling through all the modes. Generally, I don't think this will be an issue since you'll probably have it on longer than 10 seconds in most uses.

An Interesting Feature That I Hope To Never Need!
The media could not be loaded. There are a large assortment of LED flashlights available today, with a variety of features. The description on Amazon lists the 5 modes as “high brightness/Medium brightness/low brightness/strobe brightness/SOS.” The 5th mode is what I referred to as An Interesting Feature That I Hope To Never Need! After the high/medium/low/strobe, the 5th mode SOS blinks the light repeatedly in the pattern of Morse Code SOS which a Boy Scout would probably tell you is dot dot dot dash dash dash dot dot dot or 3 short flashes (S) followed by 3 long flashes (O) followed by another 3 short flashed (S) as a way of signaling I need help NOW! If you are without a working cell phone or out of range you would hope someone would be in a position to see your signal, understand what it meant, and come help you and/or summon help for you. You can see this in the video. Other features: ● The beam of this flashlight combines a wide diffused beam with a central focused HOT SPOT that is much more intense. The diameter of the HOT SPOT is about 25% of the wide beam diameter. This is shown in the photo. ● This 10” long flashlight comes with a wrist strap attached to back end. ● During use the On/Off switch is Green if well charged, Red if charge is getting low. During charging, it is Red until full charge when it becomes Green. ● The rubber cover for the charge port on this flashlight is a very good fit which supports the IPX6 Waterproof statement in the product description (unlike the cover on a smaller model I have from this manufacturer.) ● Regardless of which of the 5 modes you are using, if you have been using that mode for a while you can turn the light off with a single click without having to cycle through all the modes. The next time you turn it on, it will start in this mode. Print vs reality: The description on Amazon says the battery is 1600 mAh, which is not correct for a 18650 cell. The battery supplied is two cells shrink wrapped together (but voltage check shows they are actually connected in parallel), and marked as having (2) 18650 cells, 3.7v, 6000 mAh (or 3000 mAh per cell). More is good. The description says the recharge port is USB-C but it is definitely USB Micro B and matches the supplied charging cable. Even if I never need to signal SOS (and I hope I don’t) I like having this flashlight available. Having more than one flashlight lets me pick the features best suited to my need at the time.
