Great impressive quality, they are gorgeous! Yet stainless Steele to throw in the dishwasher…who could ask for better?

Too long for a 4 1/2 oz. martini glass
Wish that I had looked at the questions section before ordering. The advertising does not state the pick length. At 4" overall length, it is too long for a 4 1/2 oz. martini glass. Compounding the matter, due to the weight of the decorative portion of the Legacy pick, it will fall out of the 4 1/2 oz. glass. I ordered the Legacy item and those picks are too heavy for this martini glass. I reordered the same item in pewter; that should be a lighter pick. From the pictures, it appears that most of the other styles of pick are much lighter than the Legacy item. The stem on these picks is too thick. In appearance, a martini is a delicate drink and deserves a delicate pick. I use minced, anchovy stuffed Manzanilla olives, which are substantially smaller than a Queen olive. Large olives displace too much gin. My glasses are from Cristal d'Arc in France; that glass is no longer made. I bought the last two that were produced; they were shipped from France; I have a total of about fourteen glasses. I do have very expensive, engraved crystal glasses but they are ten ounce capacity. That capacity is really not amenable to staying sober for any length of time. I discovered that fact the hard way. I am including my martini recipe that I have employed for sixty of my eighty-six years, to wit: THIS IS MY RECIPE THAT IS POSTED ON THE INTERNET Martini for two prepared in a frozen crystal glass - Beefeater deserves crystal: posted by the count @ 01:46PM, 10/29/07 I keep a 12 oz. crystal glass in the freezer with four ice cubes and a teaspoon in the glass. My martini glasses are also kept in the freezer. Into the crystal glass, I pour Beefeater to fill the glass about 90%. About three drops of Martini & Rossi Dry Vermouth is the absolute maximum! Next, I add two teaspoons of olive juice from Anchovy Stuffed Manzanilla Olives - these are absolutely the best olives for a martini. Gently stir, moving the spoon up and down for about ten seconds. Pour into the frozen martini glass by placing the spoon across the lip of the glass, blocking the ice cubes from entering the glass. No ice should be allowed to enter the glass. Add three anchovy stuffed Manzanilla olives skewered on a small pewter olive skewer. Using frozen glasses decreases the dilution of the gin due to melted ice cubes and retains the unique character of the juniper. Evidently, the fictional James Bond character liked his vodka watered down - because that is what happens if you shake the gin with ice. Don't bruise a good gin and dilute it by shaking. To repeat, when pouring from the crystal glass into the martini glasses, the spoon is used across the lip of the glass to prevent the ice cubes from entering the martini glass. Again: this is a martini for two people. Note: at 94 proof, Beefeater's ranks with the high alcohol gins. The crystal glass and the martini glasses will actually "smoke" when the gin is poured. Note: the metal teaspoon conducts heat out of the glass of gin, cooling the gin even more.
