I thought it would be larger
Serves its purpose, but a little smaller than I had expected. If you need an extra large tackle box, this isn’t it. But I would still recommend- the compartmentalization on this one is what makes it worth it. No digging through everything else to get what I need. I just wish it were a tad larger.

GREAT box .. to bad there was NOT sectioned boxes in side compartments. Got two at sportsman's warehouse for a few bucks. Still a great value

Hinge Pin Missing Too!
Just received this tackle box today. First let me say that I really like this tackle box as it is very well designed and seems pretty rugged. However, I had noticed that others have mentioned a missing hinge pin and lo and behold, this unit was missing a hinge pin also!! Like I said this is really a nice tackle box so kudos to the engineers/designers at Plano. However, it appears that someone working on the assembly line at Plano is not doing their job. Apparently, the quality control inspector at Plano is not doing their job either. Rather than sending this unit back to Amazon and probably getting another one in the same condition, I opted to just fabricate a hinge pin myself and repair the unit. Irritating!! Four stars for the engineer/designer. One star off for the idiot assembler and QC inspector at Plano. As far as "missing" rubber feet" on the bottom, Plano designed holes with "keeper-fingers" in the bottom for push-on rubber feet. These can be ordered from Amazon as: "dangoodbuy Large Rubber Push-in Ridged Stem Bumpers 1" Diam - Feet - Fits 1/2" Hole (4)" . They fit and work perfectly. Just turn the rubber feet while pushing in and they lock into place.

Real Good
I am not using it for fishing or tackle, but to hold on the go everyday items. ( ie: Tylenol, claritin,, bandaid, sewing kit ect.) It is larger then i expected, but that happens when you dont read the dimensions. There is lots of space though, the tall side cubby in the base are as deep as the whole unit allowing for lots to be stored there. I did get this on sale for like $30 not the $60 it is normally listed as. Although I wasn't willing to pay the $60 it is probably pretty worth if it. It's only 4 starts since I wouldn't pay that much for it

Amazing Tackle Box
This is an amazing tackle box. It holds everything you will need and more. Even full it is not too heavy to manage. Everything is set up for easy access. Love it.

Wonderful!
So all you guy reviewers and all you fisher-people, shut your ears now; I'm going to speak heresy and tell you that I'm totally not using this for fishing. Or tools. Or even crafts. Although yeah, looked at in a certain light, you *could* say I had fishing lures in here, or the tools of the trade - I was looking for something really specific to store my jewelry in the other day. Something a) portable, b) well-built, and c) big enough to hold all my crappy sentimental junk jewelry as well as my couple of nicer bits and my military ribbons. All the stuff purpose-built for jewelry was either a piece of furniture, too small, or had reviews discussing design flaws that indicated poor workmanship. Mostly, this was prompted by some major fires in our area that meant we had bug-out bags packed for more than a month while the firefighters did their thing. I'm sitting here contemplating which of my jewelry I would want to keep, and got disgusted with the idea of leaving any of it behind. And it's long past time I got organized and stopped leaving my stuff all over the house. Nothing made for it was looking good, though, and believe me, I searched for hours. Eventually, Amazon's search algorithm got fed up with my hunting around for ever and ever and started suggesting other storage options, and I thought: toolbox! Well, it's not quite a toolbox, but close enough. Tackle box it is. All my bits and pieces fit with room to spare (ok, not much room to spare, but a little.) They stay in their little compartments, too, even if I shake them around a little. I stuck foam down in some of the compartments (canibalized from my pistol case, if that makes any horrified macho men feel any better) and it's perfect. Not pretty, not fancy, but perfect for what I need. The only thing that made me sigh was the fact that there's no cases in the two side compartments. I had to measure those and go looking for something to fit in there. The "SE - Storage Container - Plastic, Clear, 14 Section - 87065DB" is the one I picked; it fits perfectly (a little too perfectly, I'll need to stick some sort of handle on there to get it out easily in the future). Anyways, it works, it's solid, it holds my stuff, and it's not too expensive. Hooray!

Love it!
This is a great tackle box. Though it sadly doesn't have much room for extra fishing line and other tools such as scales, it's still a great product. The plastic is solid, all the doors are easy to open but sturdy enough that they won't open on their own, and the utility boxes don't have excess room so that they bounce inside the box. Though I would have liked that all the utility boxes had their own shelve. There are only 2 pairs of shelve rails so that only the top utility box hangs on its own while the remaining two rest on top of one another with the last on the second pair of rails. This means you'll have to pull out the second and third utility box if you want just the third one. I'm not sure why this was done but I do have an idea why. If you remove the bottom two boxes, you can use that empty space to add others fishing supplies or emergency kits such as First Aid. This does take away the nifty feature of the front door of the tackle box which keeps the utility boxes from falling out, from sliding under the boxes. But hey, extra storage. The side compartments are a nice addition. Not only can you add a smaller utility box in each, but you can also place soft tackle packages like Berkley's Gulp! Minnow and Berkley's Gulp! Nightcrawlers. That's what I use them for but you can use them to hold any other piece of equipment or supplies you need. All in all it's a great tackle box and I can't wait to take it out when the season starts.

Awesome box
Built quality is awesome, functionality is very good with all the space that you need for your tackle, what I'm missing is a little bit extra space on the top to keep my bait jars, other than that couldn't be happier

Well thought out design!
Just perfect! It was finally time to upgrade from my first tackle box + plastic bag at this point. This box fits everything and still leaves me room to acquire more tackle. The side compartments are what I was looking for for my soft baits, the 3 organizers come with plenty of dividers, way more than I needed but good to have extra. To quick access top compartments are perfect for my utility tool and pliers, while the large top compartment hold gloves, extra line, licenses, first aid kit very nicely. Another nice feature is that the door that holds the 3 organizers slides nicely into box so no chance of tripping on it and braking it when in a busy situation. I would recommend this to any avid to semi avid fisher person. Great design!
