Great value!

I got this as a snack container for my daughter on an upcoming 3hr flight, and I LOVE the versatility! I love that the dividers aren't fixed (a possible "con" for some people that it takes some assembly but since I don't know what snacks I'll be packing, a definite "pro" in my book!). I can have long pieces like Twizzlers in some rows, and smaller goldfish or m&ms in another. I hand washed it once and plan on handwashing it again before actually putting food in there (realizing this is not probably food safe as a tackle box isn't held to the same testing and quality standards as food containers are held to) I will only have the snacks in there for as short an amount of time as possible (pack it just before we leave and empty whatever she doesn't eat right after we land). Overall for less than $4 this was perfect & just what I was looking for! Plus, between flights I can definitely use it to store whatever little knickknacks she has around the house so it will definitely get good use out of it!

Great Product

Plano Stowaway products are very simple, and reliable that I have and will continue to purchase. The 23620-01 is one that I purchase almost exclusively because of the clear plastic which allows me to see what's inside from all angles, the latches snap shut without being so loose they freely open, and the flexibility to adjust the spacing allows me to modify and reuse containers as I see fit. I would purchase and recommend this to anyone who is looking to organize anything small. For my usage, the 23620-01 is perfect for keeping nuts, bolts, and screws organized while keeping the overall weight to a minimum making it easier to handle. The other reason I chose this size is because it is about the same size as a standard book, allowing me to store them right on my bookshelf - Helpful if you are a hobbyist stuck in an apartment. Finally, just as a personal touch, with a little help from using MS Excel, I was able to create labels for the inside, front, and back to easily identify what's inside - turned out to be a good winter project. Update 10-11-2017 I am still collecting the 23620-01 and satisfied with the purchase I made! I hope they never discontinue this style because I have over 100 of these in the shop to sort all the small nuts and bolts

Great Product But Divider Setup Is A Hassle

This seems to be a pretty good product so far. I just received it yesterday and used it for the first time. My only complaint is with the initial setup of the dividers. The dividers came connected in strings of 5, separated by about a 1 cm by 1 cm piece of plastic. My first instinct was to try to pull them apart or bend them and then pull them apart but the plastic is too thick and is not perforated to tear apart easily. I ended up having to cut the plastic pieces that join the dividers and then trim off very tiny pieces that remained on the dividers so that they would slide into the designated slots in the container to create the divided sections. If I didn't trim them, it wouldn't slide into the slots properly. I've bought similar products and the dividers came already cut and trimmed or others allowed for an easy tear, I assume using perforated plastic pieces. Even though it was frustrating to trim them all, once I got them in place, the container seems like it will be a great product.

Variety of uses, sturdy and worth the price

I have bought quite a few of these for my fiancé, who is a very picky and avid fisherman. When it comes to the brands and reviews of tackle items he uses he is so stincken picky (but for good reasoning). He has gone through I don’t know how many tackle boxes and these seem to be some of his favorites. I’ve also started buying them to hold my beads for the crosses I make for my small business. You can use the boxes for a variety of things and they are not only sturdy but you can change the separating pieces to make the little holders as small or big as you need. Overall I’m very happy with this item and recommend to anyone looking for a decent product.

Does the job; some assembly required.

I have lots of little stuff (screw, nails, bolts, picture hangers, etc.) that needs to be kept separated and organized. These boxes do the job flexibly and at a good price. The only downside I have discovered so far is that the plastic separators used to divide the interior into smaller compartments are a nuisance. They come attached to each other in groups of 5 or 6 and must be cut apart in order to be used. If the divider pieces are not cut off just right it is hard to fit the dividers into their slots, so in many cases I had to make multiple cuts to get the dividers to fit as intended. Bottom line: If the dividers came separated I would have given 5 stars. As it is, I will probably buy more of these because I have lots of little stuff to organize.

Excellent for storing beads

I have about nine of these for storing Perler, Nabbi, and Hama beads and love them. I greatly prefer these to the craft storage boxes I've had in this price range. First off, the size of the compartments are adjustable. I can make small compartments for those colors that I just have a handful of, or I can split the rows in half to accomodate 1000 bead packs. Secondly, the compartment dividers are very flush with the lid, so that you can turn these upside down and sideways without the beads mixing. Third, they are very sturdy and the latches close it very securely. I've dropped them and they've never popped open and spilled my beads. My only minor complaint is that the row where the handle is has a big indent where you can't put dividers. This section is a little awkward since having the indent in the middle limits the size of compartments you can make. It's not a big enough deal to knock this below five stars, and I've been able to work around it ok, but I wish the handle were designed a little differently.

Great for RPG dice storage

I bought this for storing dice for Dungeons and Dragons, and it works perfectly. I love that I can choose the size of the compartments. Seems durable, lid fits tightly. Stores over 20 sets of dice!

Great little organizers
