68 degree wedge
This is just what I needed. I can be 20 yards short of the green, right in front of a bunker, and I know I can swing away and the ball will go higher then forward! No more having to open a the face of a club for the flop shot. Open face means you have to recalculate your aim. Will come out to the right but how much to the right? (For right handed people) Plus an open face removes all of the forgiveness the club could offer. Great club with great results. I would buy it again and again!

Hey, this is a good looking club but being the golfer I am (not stellar) I find it not so useful. I have no complaints about its looks, build, or loft, but I don't entirely trust it and found it useless out of a bunker, for me. Maybe you would get better results. I fear to hit it full on, and find my reg., ancient, Callaway sand wedge just fine for so-called flop shots and for sand shots. I already have a club I like for those shots of 45-80 yards so this is redundant for me. This review pertains only to me. It is a great price for a fully functional 60 deg. wedge so don't hesitate if you are want one, but I suggest you really consider if you need one.

Takes a while to get the right swing but when you do that ball just hits the green with little forward roll. Great club, stays in my bag!

Great feel around the green
This is my first ever customer review on anything, ever. I feel compelled to write one because this club has gotten me really excited about my golf game. I've been golfing off an on for about 15 years. Never had a lesson, never had properly fitted clubs, so I'm clearly not taking things too seriously. I'm a bogey golfer on the best of days and generally hit low 90's. Recently I bought the Pinemeadow PRE set, which has performed admirably in spite of my hack golfer status, but after a few rounds I began to realize that my problem wasn't getting to the green so much as it was getting on and closing out holes once I got to within about 50-60 yards. Enter my search for a gap wedge that could help me out, because I got tired of often taking 4+ shots to finish out holes and leaving with unsatisfying double bogeys (or worse.) I needed more control around the green, and my 48 degree pitching wedge wasn't doing the trick. I went with the 60 degree option because some of the reviews said 68 was just plain silly, and I'm glad I did. It gets plenty of loft and settles nicely. On a full swing I can get it about 70 yards, but it's very easy to hit and taking a little off it was no problem at all. It's even better around the green. I've only played one round with it so far, so yes, small sample size, but I can tell it's going to shave a few strokes. To wit, on my front nine while I was still adjusting to it, I shot a 45 and ended up with two three-putts and seven two-putts, more or less on par with where I always am. The back nine I started getting a better feel for the wedge and how much power to put on swings, and I ended up shooting a 38. Now obviously there are other factors going into that, as I had two decent iron shots that put me pretty close to the pin and I didn't even need to chip. Also a few cans of swing lube at the turn probably loosened me up, but in any event, I had five (!) one-putts and four two-putts. I used the wedge on almost every chip shot except where it was better to do a little more bump and run style chip, and I was able to put it

A great set of wedges on the cheap, worth the price with great versatility in the 3 club set.
I had seen these clubs and thought I don’t need these. I have a pitching and sand wedge. After not playing for 30 years or so, I forgot how often you need to chip, pitch, etc. I rethought that and for $70 for 3 wedges, ok. I’ll try it, hey it’s Amazon, you can return them. These won’t be going back. I had thought about building a whole set of clubs, which would put me back at no wedges. I bought a Tour Edge set, I have been on the fence about and thought of selling those and start over. I am still unsure, but either way I go with those clubs, I can use 2 of these. The 52 degree is a good gap wedge between my pitching and sand wedges. The 60 is a great lob wedge. If I keep the set of clubs I have, I wouldn’t need the 56 degree club. The other 2, the 52 & 60 are worth the $70 I think. I like how the clubs have a yardage estimate on the head, with the loft, and what they call it. Pitching wedge, sand wedge, lob wedge, etc. I haven’t tried the 64, or the 68 clubs. Thinking that’s an insane loft, and you can only have 14 clubs, so…….. I would like to see pine meadow do a 1,2,3,4, or all 5 package deal. Letting you pick the clubs you want for say 1 for 30, 2 for 55, 3 for 75, etc. Then you just pick and choose. In the meantime, at about 30-35 a club individually they are a good deal. As good as other clubs I have used throughout the years. They also have a polished silver set for about $10 less if you prefer the silver color. So far I really like these, love using this 60 degree loft wedge. I have made some nice shots with this club. Still working on the 52. My 56 is still in the wrapper since my sand wedge is a 55. Just buy these clubs, you won’t regret it.
