Thinner than anticipated
These are nice, I thought they would be a bit cushier/thicker. I am able to use them for a short time before my fingertips are numb, and then I have to go back to my glove. Easy to put on and to move around. I am a 3 under gal and just put them together on the string it worked perfectly.

Bit of a pain to put on, but work well.
Pretty comfy. I've only used them for a couple weeks, but haven't noticed any issues with wear or accuracy. That said, I nearly messed up my serving trying to fit these over the end loop but they slid on nicely the rest of the way. For clarification, I put them on my 16 strand recurve string. First I thoroughly waxed the string. Then I hooked the cotter pin over one end of the string. Then I threaded on the first rubber bit right up to the thickest part of the serving, barely exposing the end loop, holding the pin with pliers to get better leverage. Then I was stuck, unable to move the rubber any further by hand or get a good grip on it with pliers and risking the integrity of my serving against the edge of the pin. Next I removed the pin and threaded it through the rubber piece itself, then set the barely exposed end of my string around a cabinet knob. Then it was just a matter of grabbing the pin with the pliers and using it to pull the rubber down the rest of the way and unhooking the pin from the rubber. Same procedure for the next piece. Overall, they look nice, feel nice, and I'd highly recommend these or a similar product.

not hard to get on
I was a bit tentative about ordering this product at first, reading about how hard it was to get on. The diameter of the fingersaver is much smaller than the reinforced parts of the bowstring loop at the end. However it is not that hard. Just: 1. watch the video at their website after selecting the fingersaver tab. note how the guy in the video uses the Cotter pin on the string loop, AND how he uses PLIERS to hold the end of the cotter pin, leaving his other hand free to push/pull the fingersaver over the reinforced parts of the bowstring loop. It's a bit of a "taffy pull (I may be dating myself), but the rubber is stretchy and it is a bit hard to just push from the back end of the saver OR to just pull from the front end. It bunches up a bit; so just pull on the front end a bit as it stretches, THEN push it some more over the loop from the backend of the fingersaver. hope that makes sense. 2. the other thing that made it go fast was to have someone else put some tension on the string by holding the reinforced MIDDLE part of the bowstring. The fingersaver goes on a lot quicker that way; it just feeds on so much easier. good luck. i really like these.

nicer and sturdier than ones that came with the bow package but still slide!
a set of finger savers came with the bow; they were larger than these and were softer which did not last more than 2 weeks or less; those slid on the string so they needed to be readjusted for every shot then just ripped off the string. Pine Ridge finger savers are are tight, tight to install; It's been almost 2 weeks and they ARE beginning to move, pinching the arrow nock and i have different arrows with different size nocks so i need to slide the lower saver down continuously so i know it is becoming looser and no longer smooth but rough showing wear and i need to wear my glove so Recommend using other finger protection besides these types of savers; like tabs or gloves After several hundred shots my fingertips were feeling sore and numb so i've added a glove! They get a little dirty from outdoor shooting but clean with water to look as good as new. From Pine Ridge: the finger savers are a rubber, not latex or silicone Get a finger pad or glove for better protection which is the way to go; these are more for school, groups, institutions and the like.

Saves the fingers, let's you shoot all day without any finger soreness at all. Love these.
These really save the fingers, and give a better feel than archery gloves or pads. Control is excellent, but without the finger pain. Getting them on was hard at first, but I put a drop of coconut oil down the inside of the rubber and they slid right on. The first set I put on a bow I did without the coconut oil, that was very hard and slow. With the oil, the second one took me only about 3 minutes and was very easy. Why coconut oil? I had it handy, and it cleans up without leaving a residue like machine oil will. Nothing magic about coconut oil except I had it handy, knew it would clean up and wouldn't hard the string or rubber. Lots of other oils will work too.

Great for saving fingers and preventing soreness
This is a great product for archers of any age. If you are a NASP coach, this is an essential item for your program. My kids always complain about sore fingers, and I got more and more concerned as I read about nerve damage. This item comes with the pin to get it on the string, the only other tool you need is a pair of pliers. My kids love them, and they stay in place well. There are wearable alternatives, but finger tabs are clumsy, slip easily, and finger gloves can be awkward when putting the arrow on the string. This eliminates both of these products. The finger savers do require some elbow grease to get on, but they stay put very well. I have tied a knot to ensure they don't slip just as a precaution. These are allowed by the NASP regulations, if anyone is curious about that.

Worked perfect
Bought these to go on my daughters bow. She’s in NASP archery at school. She loves them. Says her fingers don’t hurt now. Just what she needed.

Eliminates the need for gloves
Wasn't expecting much with these grips but after a week of using them every day, there is no finger bruising or pain AT ALL. I've actually forgot about the issue all together. I am very new to archery and bought a takedown recurve bow with 35lb and 50lb limbs. Never used a pair of gloves and didn't want to have to deal with finding a good pair so I purchased these as a last attempt before going ultimately having to purchase gloves. The first week was a little painful using these finger savers but stuck it out and like I said, the pain is gone and I can just focus on my form and aim now. Very surprised by these and will be buying more if these wear out. They are fairly easy to install on a flemish twist string.
