Good "Deep Dish" Style Olympic Weight Plates

I was looking for "deep dish" style olympic weight plates (2 inch hole diameter). These are sold as single plates so you need to order two to get a pair. They are smooth on the back and around the top. The center hole is also smooth. They did NOT arrive in perfect condition, but I accepted that they would be slightly imperfect for iron plates (the shipping box is basic and they are not overly protected; there were slight scuffs and paint imperfections). What I like most about these plate is how easy they are to carry and load. The edge/lip is wider (deep dish) and that makes carrying them easier than regular weight plates. They are also fairly accurate for the described weight. Overall I am very pleased with them. I did eventually order other weight sizes to have a complete set.

Sharp edges

The inside rim of the outside ring is too sharp (unless you're wearing gloves) and has to be ground off a little and then touched up with black spray paint. Not a big thing. Just something to know.

Great Weights but I Think They Have Been Used

The weights are great, one weighs 25.8lbs and the other weighs 24.4lbs, which isn't too bad. But when I received it, it had a lot of paint chips and scuffs on it like it was already used or was just rolling around on the manufactures floor.

The plates got delivered in incredible time and were the same as in the description. They seem to work just fine. I lift them up then put them back down, pretty much they're only function.... I wanted old school metal weights not the stupid rubber ones like in all the common gyms today and thats what i got. I would buy these again if i had too.

Good for the price.

Love the look and feel. All 5lb weights came as 5.05lb. Pretty good for its price. The only thing that didn't make it 5 star was that all the plates were scratched a little. Bottom line, Worth it in my opinion.

The best olympic weight plates you can buy on Amazon.ca, easily.

They are beautiful, they weight exactly the same weight as advertised, they're solid and they look totally badass. I am sticking to Power Systems with my future weight plates. I highly recommend this.

These plates are good. I have two 35 pound plates and one 45. I''m still waiting on one 45, but they are not in stock currently. There are some imperfections on all the plates (slight dents, bumps etc.) but it doesn't matter. I like the raised lettering and the rim grip. Look and feel like plates you'd find at the gym.
