It broke on first application

It is a pretty color but unfortunately it broke off on my first application. It is not very creamy but is what I expected for the price.

Arrived broken

The lipstick arrived broken and smushed into the lid. I can still use it and I knew that I liked the color and formula because I bought one at a local store previously. However, the lipstick wiggles around in the tube when I try to put it on and that makes it difficult. Plus I don’t want to throw it in my purse, in case it causes more damage. The product was shipped in an Amazon padded envelope without any additional padding. If more care was put into the packaging, I feel like this wouldn’t happen.

This is really drying and very unflattering. I like the breakfast club idea but none of the characters wore this color. The color Clare wears in Clinique in black honey.

Cheap packaging; okay color and formulation

I think that doing a makeup series from THE BREAKFAST CLUB is kind of a gimmick, but I decided to give one of the lipsticks a try. I chose "The World is an Imperfect Place" shade because I thought it might be a flattering light peach, which is how it looked in the description. I was disappointed when I received it - the lip color had come loose in the tube, and it had smeared all over the packaging. The tube itself is a very cheap-looking plastic with a awkward, squared off clear plastic cover. When I tried the color on, it was definitely more orange-y than I had expected. If I apply very lightly, I do get a decent, light peach shade that is semi-matte as described - and good news, it had decent staying power and didn't dry out my lips. So, in the end I thought this was decent, but I wouldn't buy again.

Creamy texture and very nice color

I ordered this lipstick in the color “the princess lipstick I don’t like Mondays” and the lipstick has a very simple packaging. I think the name of the color is pretty unique and interesting and the color is absolutely beautiful in person as it’s a light peachy shade with orange undertone so it’s pretty close to what you see in the product pictures. The texture is creamy and very soft so it applied nicely on lips but it doesn’t stay so long and it fades out pretty quickly.

So in love!

I really like this shade of lipstick, and it is my go-to shade, pretty much every day for daytime use. I have not used Physicians Formula in over 20 years, but then they did this amazing tribute to one of my very favorite movies growing up, and I am in love! This adorable “pretty in pink”, with a touch of warm peach lipstick glides on nicely, has a nice matte finish, feels like my natural lips (no “slippery” or “greasy” feel). It doesn’t dry lips out, yet lasts throughout the typical day, and has no strong scents for those that are scent-sensitive when applying it. As if that isn’t enough, Physicians Formula does not test on animals, is gluten-free, and paraben-free! All pluses for me! My particular lipstick has a misspelling “I Don’t Like Monday’s” but it does not detract from the quality or beauty of the product, just mentioning it. I am still giving this lipstick 5 stars because I love the lipstick. From it’s iconic artwork and references to the movie, from the pink lipstick container the lipstick shade is in, it screams 1980’s, TOTALLY! It is perfect for my fair, pink-toned skin, and I am definitely sold on Physicians Formula because of their commitment to providing a high quality product with a conscience, with beauty you can feel good about.
